I played baritone in middle School and my first year in High School. I just ordered a euphonium and can’t wait to get started on learning again. Seeing the music makes me think that I can do it. It’s been over 30 years since I last played so we’ll have to see how it goes. This inspires me a lot. Thank you for the inspiration.
I learned trombone for my senior year in high school, kinda as an excuse to get closer to my now husband but also because of medical stuff fingering was always hard for me so I figured trombone would be easiest for me. I liked it a lot but I’ve found myself really drawn to euphonium, I love its sound in a way I never really clicked with trombone. I wanna pick it up again soon and maybe one day I’ll be able to do duets like this with my husband. But I’m commenting here cause you gave me hope for learning again as an adult, I kinda felt like my window had passed but I won’t give up, I hope you’ve been well and playing
I feel like on an actual trombone played IRL this would sound great. It’s a little too artificial for my tastes as is but I’d love to hear someone cover this
I missed out last semester for a trombone choir and i think this semester I can join my old trombone friends that I've been playing with since 5th grade and I think this and "Can't Help Falling In Love" By Elvis Presley will be some great pieces for us to start playing again
I play euphonium and my brother plays trombone and my sister plays piano. Just waiting for them to be experienced enough so that we can play this together. (They started a few months ago. How ever I’ve been playing for 2 1/2 years now)
Lmao my close friend who conviently plays trombone sent me this We printed out immediately and we're practicing it xD A duet was something we've wanted to do for a long time but i rarely find anyone compose for Baritone/Euphonium Thx so much lmao
I play trombone and one of my good friends plays Euphonium, I completely cracked up when I saw this because I could totally see us trying this and absolutely failing because of our inability to focus around each other.
i think the best part is if done correctly, the parts are interchangeable. i play the euphonium and would trade music with a trombone player bc she likes playing high notes wayy more than me and you really couldnt tell the difference.
Awesome! 😃😃😃👏👏👏👍👍👍 Let me guess, the trombone is playing the top part? I play both these instruments! XD Of course I’ve got more experience with the trombone than the euphonium! ;) XD
@@ninjapanda4024 its ur opinion, but i honestly prefer euphonium, it has this chill vibe about it that i really like :)) BUT I ALSO LIKE TROMBONE I LOVE THE GLISSANDOS
@@ninjapanda4024 definitely not a bad thought however for some really laid back songs I think euphonium really stands out and excels especially with some good trombone to give it the extra umph
This is written very awkwardly. For one the melody at the beginning was off, it’s e natural and also some of the rythms are impossible to sight read the way they’re written. Also just with the roles of the instruments, one playing bass part it makes so much more sense to have a tuba in there and do the full bassline with the octaves.
There's not really a way to get rid of the Eb in the key signature without having to write in a bunch of accidentals in the melody. Plus the melody plays Eb and there is only one chord with E natural (CM7 chord)
@@kyrothegyro Yeah the key might be fine, but in the euphonium part at least the Eb's sound off and would probably sound better natural, just going off the original version of course. Still a great arrangement!
Aiden Lowe is kinda right. The whole thing Is in Fminor, the small detail is that the song is in F minor harmonic, which raises the 7th of the key of a semitone (in this case, it’s the Eb raised to an E natural. Having the E natural in this arrangement would make it more spicy
I love this but it would be so cool if the euphonium played more of the melody instead of the back round, but but I feel like if you know how to make the trombone sing irl then I think this just works out fine, love it

I started playing baritone half of the year in 7th grade and when I got in Jr High, the band directors just gave me a euphonium.
Baritone player for 6 years now
How is your playing now?

I will be the pianist.

Beautiful. Ima get my bud who plays baritone and we’re gonna try to get this.

Gracias 😁
This piano part is the reason bass clef exists

I really want to use this for solo and ansemble this yearrr
Go for it! The sheet music is in the description
I wanna play this with my best friend who plays euphonium for solo and ensemble
I might need to play this since I play both euphonium and trombone

The euphonium baseline is suppose to have a E natural on the quarter note
gracias Rey
That keyboard part is begging for bass clef
Sounds good, but this needs the leading tone E natural throughout for the harmonic minor.
Thank you, was thinking that and wasn’t sure if I was crazy.
Is there a alto sax + Bb clarinet version of this?? I need this so badly
No, but the musescore file is in the sheet music google drive if you want to transpose it
The piece is in F Harmonic Minor. Most of the Eb’s on Euph should’ve been E Naturals.
true, i was waiting for someone to mention that
This could be us but you playin
hey, can i take the piano and drum kit style? i want to do my own style of the song and i cant find a base for it
Sure, go ahead!
@@kyrothegyro thank you :)
i will get it up as soon as possible
Would you transpose 1st trombone for trumpet
Yes, just added it to the google drive folder in the description
@@kyrothegyro thank you . I appreciate it
Muse score?
Yep
What instrument is the 3rd line?
Its a very poorly notated piano, I forgot to put it in bass clef
Oh lol
Should I slur the Ab to f on the trombone part?
I haven't had the chance to try it yet so I don't know if I would better slurred
trombone is not my main instrument so I don't know if that slur is possible but it would sound good@@OLL13VR

This is lovely but you may want to invest in some bass clef for the piano part, my friend
Haha yeah, the piano part was mostly for listening and as a backing track. Definitely would be better in bass clef
Very difficult to to read, you should take care whenever you have 16ths and 8ths next to each other that the groupings line up with the beat
I guess this is a lower sound trombone, mine doesn’t sound like this, its more like a higher sound.
Yea the midi trombone is not the most accurate sound
Is it just me or does the piano in just the two of us kinda sound like stronger than you from steven universe
Probably should've written the piano part in bass clef but nice arrangement none the less
Sheet music where?
In the description
Sorry to say this but i belive the Eb when the bass does, C Eb F shoud be natural.
Why is piano and drum in a trombone and euphonium duet?
It sounds better with a backing track even though it would sound fine with just euphonium and trombone.
But then it’s not called a duet.
@@bowmaster6688 duet +2
shuichi and kumiko
It's a shame the Tuba is so nice and warm and the euphonium effect is like a car horn
It's in the wrong key the Eb should just be E
There's not really a way to get rid of the Eb in the key signature without having to write in a bunch of accidentals in the melody. Plus the melody plays Eb and there is only one chord with E natural (CM7 chord)

Ok the trombone could quite down some to hear the ephonium
Agreed, it was hard to balance using the default musecore sounds
it grooves but please,,, raise the seventh especially in the bassline. it sounds so flat with the natural 7th, probably because it literally is flat
Chord moveing is a bit failed, and the melody, but ok
I love this but it would be so cool if the euphonium played more of the melody instead of the back round, but but I feel like if you know how to make the trombone sing irl then I think this just works out fine, love it
