I love the fact that you help people with disabilities. And it seems like you are saying everything off the top of your head in all your videos. I see good things in your future!!!
I miss my old square body tail gate suburbans….i had an ‘81 k10 and an ‘86 k20…..both SBC 350 trucks but the ‘81 k10 had a black 290hp goodwrench replacement motor in it and the 3/4 ton k20 had the factory smogged/choked out 350 in it and was a turd…..a very WET seperated turd at that…..the ‘81 half ton 6 lug was a battle wagon/beast and i miss that truck still to this day some 25yrs later……now to keep that squarebody spirit alive i have a ‘73 C10 short bed fleetside complete with a vortech v-3sci supercharged LS and all!!!!! That lil truck is a riot and i just love all the sounds it makes!! …….ive had a couple ‘67/‘72 c10’s in between the times as well…..a particular ‘68 c10 longbed with a 5.3 LS (asa cammed) 3000 stalled th350 and 12bolt 3.73’s was the inspiration behind the ‘73 c10 short bed build……very very similar components motor/trans/rear, with the addition of a supercharger to the mixture, and how can you go wrong!!!
Thanks for making this video. I have been wanting to upgrade from my Holly carb to EFI. I was looking at the Holly Sniper but a buddy told me about Ace's. I have watch a few other people and was still on the fence but you sold it man. Going to order mine real soon. Thanks again.
They are starting at $599 right now….thats nearly $1000 less than the problematic heat soaked ecu sniper garbage…..holley is only good for the terminator X when converting to efi…….other than that their carbs are their bread and butter….if you want TBI efi you cannot beat the aces setup …..pound for pound , dollar fot dollar….i have my killshot ecu mounted inside the vehicle behind the dash out of harms way and out of sight……not on top of a vibrating 225* heat soaked engine bay😂😂😂😂 wtf were u thinking sniper/fitech/ and any of the other competitors that wanted to keep costs down by mounting the ECU within the throttle body😂😂😂😂……being cheap ends up REALLY expensive!!!
It will be a night and day difference…..up untill you get all your parts in order for a LS swap…..and then at that point you can still use it on a carbed intake for your LS if you wish to keep that traditional Small Block look……my nova loved its 4.8 LS swap untill i put a .030 over LQ9 (370”) with LS3 heads into it only to mount a LSA supercharger on it not even within a year later, and now im buttoning up a 408” stroker for it cause a hi compression supercharged 370” LQ9 just isnt enough (for me)…….technically the 4.8 with a little 220/220 cam and 3000 stalled th350 was more than enough and was a whole new animal compared to the aluminum headed built 355 gen 1 small block it replaced!!!!
Did you make or buy that bracket that’s holding all your relays fuses coil ecm. If you bought it do you have a link? It all looks really good. Any issues with interference (wiring)?
@JoshuaLopez-m1k Thank you. I appreciate that. And thank you for watching. I made the bracket out of a piece of flat steel. And as far as the install and wiring, it is incredibly easy. I had zero issues. Everything is labeled, and the instructions are very easy to follow. If you run into any issues at all, Ace's customer service and tech are easy to contact.
@crazycaseyscustoms the computer can control the timing. Technically, you only lock it out during start-up to verify that you're at 15° before tdc (top dead center), then you can unlock and let the ECM do its job. I hope this helps.
@RoadKingRobert before I was getting 5 to 9 mpg, now 12 to 16, when I can stay off the skinny pedal, lol. Mind you, this has a 454 with a turbo 400 trans.
Stop telling people anything good or positive about Fl. Stay away from this horrible place where you can loose everything in any of the many deadly HURRICANES! SHHHHW.

I agree
Thank you I really appreciate that.
I'm going to be installing this on my 1991 g20 van. Thank you for this video!!
@TRAVISVANZUIDEN you are welcome. Thank you for watching.
Ur gonna love it!!!

I love my killshot system….night and day difference on my sons 1967 mustang 289
The gasket they supplied with the notches is sitting on the windshield.
Im going o havo look into one of these systems for my nova.
I'm very impressed with it.

You used my favorite word “essentially”

Are you "just" keeping the timing at 15 degree, or letting the system control that also ? I notice in the video, the timing always says 15 degree
@tomnyk63 So for the ride home, I kept it at 15 for fuel Learn, and then I unlocked the distributor to run magnetic timing after that.
Can the computer not control the timing, @@TreerowRescue? Just wondering why you unlocked it.

Did you have to make any adjustments or do anything special with the transmission?
@@matthewebke8714 I did not. If you have a 700r4 more than likely due to the kick down linkage.
What kind of fuel mileage are you getting with the efi ?
@RoadKingRobert before I was getting 5 to 9 mpg, now 12 to 16, when I can stay off the skinny pedal, lol. Mind you, this has a 454 with a turbo 400 trans.
@@TreerowRescuedang, that’s quite a jump!!! 👍🏻
@jp360ford2 It's worth the investment, in my opinion.
