So ridiculous that the rules of golf STILL haven't changed to allow a golfer to move the ball out of a divot. There's nothing natural about a divot, it can totally destroy an excellent fairway shot, and the shot out of a divot can be very difficult to judge and convert into a good shot. Forcing players to play out of divots is both unfair but just makes for bigger holes in the fairway ! Imagine playing from a twice dug out divot !!
@@ArthurDentZaphodBeebbet you’d like to go back to before they marked the ball on the green. If a players putt ended up in front of your ball, oh well.
The odds of landing in a divot on the fairway is super low

@@ArthurDentZaphodBeeb Yeah let's take a comment completely out of context as if what you suggest has anything to do with it. Do you always need to exaggerate like this in order to make a point?
I have a few buddies that do the same thing around the green. I just back off and tell them to stop moving. It's so distracting. Not sure if Hull did that on purpose or not but that's bad etiquette for sure .
@@fofojigga7391 for sure, some people might just not know but I think Hull being professional she should know better and she was in contention with Korda that day so it makes it real bad etiquette. Idm playing partners bad but when they don't have simple etiquette it drives me mad but I guess we have to try our best to have fun as amateur players.

Why not let everyone simply place the ball, or use a tee on every shot? Let's ban bunkers and rough while we're at it! Make golf really fair!
