Go behind the scenes with Nelly and Jessica Korda as they go through their warm-up routine with coach Jamie Mulligan and answer questions from GOLF’s Dylan Dethier.
2 of the classiest, most genuine, real, complete athletes out there.. followed them at KPMG last year and was the highlight of my yr watching Nelly win!
I could/will watch the Korda sisters all day, so I'm saving this video. Such a big fan of you both and this video has strengthened that. You do your parents proud. And to top it off, you have two of the best swings in golf - any level, any gender. Wishing you both many more successes on Tour and in life 😊
Interesting conversation! I’m 70, we play all winter in the Mid Atlantic we just played in 38 degree’s, sunny, no wind and I walked, it was fine. Now, I worked outside for a public utility so it doesn’t take long to get use to the cold for me!
@@jessicakorda84 , I have been a fan since you won in Australia in 2012. I was living in Sydney at that time and I watched your win on TV. Also I remembered your Dad's win and thought the connection was really cool. Then later on seeing your brother win and then Nelly, the Australian success in your family is remarkable. I love your golf swing and really love the way you carry yourself and represent the great game of golf! Please keep it up and I look forward to your next win.
I never thought about that, but you’re right Chris! It’s remarkable that two world class athletes (Petr and Regina) could be such good parents too. I have so much respect for them for that.
Congratulations to your parents for doing an outstanding job raising two Beautiful talented Women, and what counts the most besides Golf is your hugh Hearts 💕!!
That rock and string feel is great. I've been using it on all but the shortest shots and have been hitting it great. And longer, too, despite it being 'quieter'. Thanks for a great video.
Would love to see a mixed PGA/LPGA tournament that counts on both tours. Something like the Zurich Classic but with mixed teams in 4-somes. Imagine Nelly teamed up with Spieth and Jessica teamed up with McIlroy. I think it would be entertaining for both fan bases.
Question. I watched video and have observed Nelly Korea’s ball placement. Correct me if I’m wrong, but based on what her coach was saying, is Nelly’s swing and approach based upon the principles of Ernest Jones? It certainly looks that way. Particularly her Driving.
@@jessicakorda84 ummmm? OK......WHo follows women's golf and isn't aware of the Korda sisters? Two of the best swing in golf, in the same family..............tell nelly to stop the slouching posture shtuff, k. Shoulders a little back and down, like you do well, will save her ole spine in the years to come.
Jamie must be making some bank these days with Cantley and these two stars. If I was still playing I would try to get a lesson with him down in Long Beach.
Funny…saw a video of Tom Watson warming up on the range and the first club he pulled a 3 iron to start his warmup…..he said if he started to strip it he knew he was going to play well….interesting
Two of the best swings in golf. Love the straight left arms during backswing. Peter Korda had done a great job raising two amazing young ladies who are such amazing ambassadors of the game. On another note they both hav e some of the nicest legs on tour.
@@jessicakorda84 Hi Jessica, I used to be a daily tennis player and competitor but I found I got too emotional in tennis matches so I switched to golf and found i had talent for it winning LA City championships and other city tournaments. That said I took an interest in you and your sister probably because I knew of your dad so I have followed you since you came on tour. Always root for you!
There's a video here that everyone should watch with Rory, Tiger, & Day discussing & demonstrating their ideas & approaches to their short games. It's like 3 buddies out practicing on a Sunday comparing notes. It's a few years old & lasts about 35 minutes. Watch it if you get a chance. Very cool. You'd never know they go out & try to beat each other into the ground every week.
wow somebody is awake???hope she doesn't get sick.no immune system left.how's steve stricker doing now???W/D from sr.PGA.they said he had a mysterious illness???two stints put in????TIC-TOC-TIC-TOC.BYE
getting cold easily is often a sign of gluten intolerance and some degree of gut biome issues.... that is, a compromised gut biome results in inadequate nutrient absorption and consequently, difficulty generating heat when cold.......when the gut biome is dialed in like a clean 7 iron shot, the body heats and cools itself well.
Ben Hogan said that Mickey Wright had the best golf swing of any human. High praise indeed. I believe that had he seen Nelly's swing he might have altered his opinion. It is fluid with exceptional timing and power. No one could go wrong copying her swing.
Mickey Wright is the greatest example of "keeping the club in front of your chest"..... never does the club get behind her and require timing with the hands, like hogan. After rereading this.....Moe Norman too.
@@curiousbystander9193 nothing wrong w/ his backswing or takeaway at all. look at the depth he gets with his right hip. the tilt w/ his hips. the massive shoulder turn. just love everything about his swing. club at the top is right down the line. pure perfection imo.
Nelly is life lol almost single handedly got me into watching more lpga ( Lexi too let’s all admit ) but she’s on another level with that swing there is literally 0.0% wrong with it. It’s mind blowing. Doesn’t hurt she’s also a smoke show. Respectfully lol.
After watching some LPGA tournaments on television, I marvel at how this organization remains in business. The extremely low turnout of paying spectators is obvious and alarming. I just watched a Saturday round when the last two groups were coming down 18. There were no people along the cart path viewing areas and a total of yes I counted, 17 people in the 18th green grandstand. I don't understand why a sponsor would fund one of these tournaments, there is very little upside and visibility. Maybe they need a couple of Paige Spiranac/Blair O'Neil types to attract the males. There is certainly no one even close on the LPGA at the moment to attract the male golfer.
Sad to think you just watched two great golfers with loads of tips for male golfers and you think the lpga needs to increase its sex appeal to get males to watch. There is so much more the average male player can get watching the LPGA than the PGA.
Fun fact. Indigenous people weren't allowed off reservations until 1958 without permission from the Indian agent, and golf clubs were made a hell of a lot earlier than that, no surprise. Since then the nate dogs have been golfing and are very talented. The European/white man got some talent coming their way. JUST NO MORE SUPPRESSION PLEASE!
Nelly's swing tempo is absolutely incredible
Love BOTH their swings. I always root for the Korda sisters in LPGA!
These two have the best swings you will ever see. Every man can learn something from how they swing.
Nelly totally fangirling and asking for a photo with Tiger was one of the most relatable and wholesome moments ever from a top tier elite athlete.
