I have the evo2410/mcar setup in a downfiring box in my Subaru Outback and it sounds amazing. Great video- not nearly enough about them on RUclips. I had a sealed box and got nice punchy bass but it had problems hitting some of the lower notes. The passive radiator helps it hit those lower notes, it kind of ports the box is the way it was explained to me
I did install the second evo, sounds great, but I went with more power. Went from 650W to 1100W. It slams. As to to comment about mixing sizes, this setup is designed by audiomobile. There are two powered subs and the other two are passive radiators. You should check out audiomobile’s web site.
Ronald Pennington cool, thanks for sharing. I'll send you a link to a video. once I get my mine installed. Mine are getting a 1350 watt zapco amp. These are hard to find on the web, wasn't sure what to expect from them.
@@ronbpenn how big was the box you had them in….. right now I have 4 audiomobile evo’s in a sealed box and I wish I could get some lower notes, but I also don’t wanna give up any loudness. That being said I’m only pushing about 350 watts to each evo which is pretty underpowered. And occasionally I get clipping on some low notes.
Did you ever install the 2nd Evo sub? curious to know how it sounded. I have 2 evos and 2 MCAR I'm about to install in my f250. 2 separate chambers measuring .56cf each

I think I will post an update showing the 2nd MCAR and I also went up in power to 1100W RMS for those 2 subs.
@@ronbpenn you went up to 1100w? How did these evo’s hold up with that much power going to them
They handled the power amazingly, no issues. I sold my truck but still have them. In perfect condition.

running completely out of phase 😢 destroying the base
That isn't how passive radiators work. They function similar to a port.
This makes no sense. So your mixing size and series of subwoofer together? That’s horrible idea. Especially in a single chamber sealed box.
The mcar250s are passive radiators
