Honestly as someone who owns chickens, this is great. They are actually vicious little omnivores whom I have seen chase around frogs and snakes and even small birds mercilessly.

the scene at 19:00 was genuinely disturbing to me. I think it was something to do with the false sense of escape, it all being a hallucination, and you were really about to kill yourself. Oh and the slow noise buildup to the sudden full loud ass sound really hits you with the "holy shit what am I doing". that was really well done
Years ago, I a wyandot rooster with our hens. As he got to be about three or four, we had a chicken Hawk move in nearby, but he got so good at keeping it away that he started getting really violent, spurring everyone he could get to because he was so high strung over that hawk. We gave him and the hens away to a local homesteader who raises them for eggs and has a safe area for them to roam. Turns out our rooster was just stressed!
If You've got good reflexes it's a lot less scary, just wait for them to run at you and when they try to do a flying kick, grab their feet and just hold them upside down till they stop flapping wildly. then throw them. they typically stop trying after a couple times.

Chickens are the animals I see the most that rely on just their sense of instinct. They have almost no brain power and can really be ruthless and mean. However they are sometimes really affectionate and anything that's a baby is cute. As someone who fed chickens and their rooster was really aggressive towards me and would chase me around till I started kicking it and chasing it around till it learned I was a bigger foe, this turn around 2 if the chicken was meaner than me is amazing. Good work on the game and great job Markiplier for showcasing this weird game.

Because one of my chickens get stuck in a 1 ft hole and refused to jump out. But I do understand they can be smart but they often don't show it.

I genuinely loved this games story, and the end scene actually made me sad too, I feel like Mark really overlooked it through his endless hunger for delicious human-chicken MEAT.

Lmao I had a reoccurring nightmare as a child where I would be in a Forrest with abandoned houses and some fields trying to hide from this giant chicken. Probably had that ridiculous dream 30 or more times and as dumb as it sounds it was horrifying being stalked by the chicken

Damn, i thought this was somr goofy silly horror game but hearing sebastians speech at the end was chilling and thought provoking. Bravo to the voice actor too, the way he repeated his lines with different inflection and emphasis each time really gave the phrase he repeated new meaning each time, and gave you a subtle sense of dread about the implications of his thougjts. * spoiler warning* That last "i am human" realy just hits. The realization at what he is recognizing in himself and what it means for himself, that he is consious and has free will. And the concept of ab ebd ti suffering, like how he viewed killing cooper as merciful and fir the best, even tho he cared for cooper, and then realized he wanted that end of suffering as well.
That’s an interesting perspective. When Sebastian killed himself, I assumed it was because he realized how similar he is to Eric. Since Eric was a human as well, it probably left a traumatic realization on Sebastian since he could compare himself to such a monster.

Why is this like actually one of the scariest games I’ve watched mark play. I’ve never jumped so bad so much while watching one of his play throughs.

This is the poster child for games that go harder than they really needed to. Very silly premise, but actually kind of terrifying and a decent story. I like it! :)
Yeah. And almost somewhat compelling characters too. That sequence where Cooper talks and lets you go was actually pretty cool. And I actually felt bad about Sebastian at the end. I was like “We could’ve lived together, man. :(“
Chickens are the animals I see the most that rely on just their sense of instinct. They have almost no brain power and can really be ruthless and mean. However they are sometimes really affectionate and anything that's a baby is cute. As someone who fed chickens and their rooster was really aggressive towards me and would chase me around till I started kicking it and chasing it around till it learned I was a bigger foe, this turn around 2 if the chicken was meaner than me is amazing. Good work on the game and great job Markiplier for showcasing this weird game.

@@Trexlover1 I do believe they are smart, But there are animals that are way smarter than them. And I've had chickens before and I guess. My batch of chickens were dumb as bricks. Because one of my chickens get stuck in a 1 ft hole and refused to jump out. But I do understand they can be smart but they often don't show it.

I genuinely loved this games story, and the end scene actually made me sad too, I feel like Mark really overlooked it through his endless hunger for delicious human-chicken MEAT.
i think he plays games like these so much he just doesn't feel emotion for sad endings anymore 😭

I kinda love the idea of a horror game where the character you're playing is just as unhinged as the monsters around them

Loved that part at the end. It takes the concept of a being believing they are human, becoming human, and twists what would have been their freedom into another cage. His hope is stained red, oozing dread and hate now pointed at himself. He escapes again through violence.
Plato and Diogenes would have a field day with this chicken's backstory!
Say what you will, but the chicken running away at first instead of just rushing you like every other horror monster was... Refreshingly spooky.

Lmao I had a reoccurring nightmare as a child where I would be in a Forrest with abandoned houses and some fields trying to hide from this giant chicken. I would feel the huge footsteps getting closer and every time the chicken would eventually find me and peck me apart. Probably had that ridiculous dream 30 or more times and as dumb as it sounds it was horrifying being stalked by the chicken
I had a similar nightmare but I was being chased around a city by a giant Lego Batman.
I also had a reoccurring nightmare about being chased, though it was by Kermit the Frog

I love watching a person play a horror game because then I can laugh at their pain and suffering knowing that if I was the one playing I would have the crap scared out of me
I love that the chickens name is Cooper. Mark called him Sheldon. Due to the fact that there’s an association between Sheldon and Cooper. As in Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang theory.

Damn, i thought this was somr goofy silly horror game but hearing sebastians speech at the end was chilling and thought provoking. Bravo to the voice actor too, the way he repeated his lines with different inflection and emphasis each time really gave the phrase he repeated new meaning each time, and gave you a subtle sense of dread about the implications of his thougjts. * spoiler warning* That last "i am human" realy just hits. The realization at what he is recognizing in himself and what it means for himself, that he is consious and has free will. And the concept of ab ebd ti suffering, like how he viewed killing cooper as merciful and fir the best, even tho he cared for cooper, and then realized he wanted that end of suffering as well.
That’s an interesting perspective. When Sebastian killed himself, I assumed it was because he realized how similar he is to Eric. Since Eric was a human as well, it probably left a traumatic realization on Sebastian since he could compare himself to such a monster.
