man this is exactly what i've been waiting for, subways in NYC. Miss that feeling riding that lines through out Manhattan. It´s almost 9 years ago I´ve visited NYC the last time and I´m missing it.
@17:20 I prefer the brighter lighting to the grey, but if it's easier on your eyes you do you. City's looking great as always. Your project and the one to recreate Pittsburgh are inspiring me to try and replicate Baltimore.
Your PC must hate you, but even when uncompleted this is one of the best cities I've ever seen. As for your question at 17:20, the grey dull look is much better, especially considering the area.
WOW! I am in shock. I am a retired NYCT Motorman, and a lifelong train enthusiast, and a Cities Skylines "mayor player". This is fantastic. Yes, I like this LUT. And I will be joining up with you on Twitter. I can't wait for the livestream and the next episode.
Hey, I really liked your video. Just a suggestion but I think that node controller and intersection marking tool would really improve the looks of the roads.
Are the Subways going to fail half the time or have a delay to make it realistic. Also please make all the new government projects cost three times more then they said it would cost and take five more years.
Loved you building the M22 as thats the bus i used to take to school! The M22 does use the old liveried buses though afaik, idk if thats changed though since i last rode it
You did the West Side of Manhattan! I've stayed at one of the hotels on 8th Ave though, which is the A, C, & E lines. I'm sure you'll get to those lines at some stage :D
@@willbils7069 I don't know exactly yet, but I'll probably stick mostly to Manhattan - I'll be there for only 5 days only and there's a huge amount of stuff to see, I'll focus on the most known places :)
Impressive build. I've never been to NYC, so my only experience with it is through movies, TV, and of course spending a frankly embarrassing amount of time in Tom Clancy's The Division. Question: how are you going to recreate Hudson Yards? Are those buildings on the workshop? Is the Vessel on there? Anyway, great series.
@@ithinkyouknow Nice. Looking forward to seeing it. Also One World Trade Center and that business complex nearby, can't remember the name. Brookfield Place?
Also You should download more mta bus assets and look for the bus route and try to see what bus type is used on it like articulated/new/old/white/blue but here i will list you the car types to use for each line for better accuracy 1 - R62 2 - R142 3 - R62 ----------------- 4 - R142 5 - R142 6 - R62 note: when adding trains try to put as much trains a stations ex. 6 line has 10 stations put 8 trains out. If there are two 2 train lines serving a single line ex. 4/5 have 10 staions then put out 4 (4) trains and 4 (5) trains
Love this video! And the bit of Lower East Side you have is wicked! 👍 One thing though ... your MTA tunnel stations are too short for your trains! Does the metro subway mod allow you to fix it?

nice history lessons
They have actual track maps of NYC which would be pretty cool to use as a semi-reference
I use the wonderful track map from vanshookenragen (sp?)
@@ithinkyouknow And that was exactly the one I was referring to!

I use both, there's just so many roads I don't edit too many. When I live stream soon I'll show off more IMT work.

Does the game bunching all the trains count?
If it broken or 30 minutes delay I think so also great job with the subway.

The new LUT definitely makes things look more alive to me. The built up part of Two Bridges looks amazing.
Just wait to see some build up in the next one...
Yes I love the mta so I loved how you did this

Could you make the Brooklyn Bridge Park? its one of the few places I have been to in NYC so it would be really cool to see it!
Definitely. Once I get to Brooklyn
I love this video, I love every part of this video
I will be travelling to NYC for the first time in April. Can't wait to see the city IRL! :)
its a great place
@@willbils7069 I'll decide that by myself in 3 weeks ;D
@@mikifert what parts you going to in the city?

This is such a great series to keep track of! Hats off to you Sir! Do you use Realistic Population mod?
Not right now but I have in the past

Hudson Yards will get built. All of the buildings, and Vessel are on the workshop and have fantastic assets

How to you get the lane selector tool to toggle underground?

You know you can just add platforms to any subway station with MO mod, right?
Never seen that before. How?
Love this video! And the bit of Lower East Side you have is wicked! 👍

I'll have to take a look. It can definitely be fixed
Great Video, loved it! Keep it up!
Are you going to be building any of New Jersey in this series?
Probably not. I did on my previous build though
is the IND BMT and the IDE ?
i like the new LUT but i wish some of the white buildings were a little more dull, they’re very stark. Otherwise i think this LUT fits better.
First! Also love this series!
Thank you!
@@ithinkyouknow no problem!
somebody beat me to it
Pov you use a mod how brakes your game xd
