- One of my several 1994-1996 LT 1 B/D body cars. Not for sale, but shown for fun. Correction of the Vista Dome. While it is true that the Skylark Sport wagon only featured the Vista Dome on the 1964-1969 model years, the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser continued this feature through the 1972 model year. I guess that is one reason why more people remember the Olds over the Buick wagons.

Finally got use of a lapel microphone. Technical support from my daughter.
Had a lot of fun today😎
I drove my 93 wagon to a car show parade in Pensacola, and everyone went nuts over it. Straight dual exhaust, and it was all stock other than that. I had the woody. I drove it hot, and blew the gaskets. One of my most regrets in my life. I also had the 95 Roadmaster sedan police interceptor. I had to buy special tires to keep it on the road. A lot of power. They are not many left on the road. I am looking to find one ready to go. All restored, but mostly original.
Just found your channel today. It's cool to see someone who appreciates and not only collects but DRIVES these beautiful Buicks. If I had the means, I would do the same. Great, informative video!
Glad you like them!
If you ever have any problems with the door windows getting loose in the tracks. The factory put these oblong track sliders in the window regulators. You can get replacements. But instead I got Dorman part #74444 window regulator rollers. They last longer and have less chance of binding since they're round. It's been awhile since I did mine, but I think there are 4 in each door. Although the 2 main sliders are the ones that usually break, I would recommend replacing all 4. And grease the tracks afterwards. The rest of the mechanism seems to last. It's just the regulator sliders.
Oh I have done this to ALL my current and former 1994-1996 Roadmasters and Fleetwoods. You are absolutely correct. I have a bag full of those rollers.
Great job on the overview of your Roadmaster and love your sense of humor 😂!
Thank you. I do it for fun. And that my humor is appreciated is the best reward.
I had a 93. I miss that wagon. You have an awesome wagon If you ever sell it let me know. Enjoy your masterpiece. 😊
My ex from high school had a road master and i felt like i was ridding in a damn spaceship😅😅,im 5'2 and it was so huge😮. Big body❤. Love your unique tag🎉
These were hands down, the best wagons, ever. Always a head turner when I see one out and about. Driving around was a king to piloting a comfortable, LT1-powered couch. Sad day when GM axed the full framed B platform, after ‘96.
Unlike the sedans, these wagons had a fully boxed frame. Heck it is almost like a 1/2 pickup underneath.
Hard to believe that you left salt belt Wisconsin to live in such a dry climate with Cactus 🌵 like I’ve seen in movies
One of the main reasons I did (but there are many) is because my love of cars. In WI everything gets rusted out. The downside to AZ is all the rubber, plastic, cloth and leather dries up like a Mummy's vagina.
I almost got a 96 wagon. But I got the sedan instead. I love it. But it's definitely showing its age. The door panels Especially. Kinda wish I had gotten the wagon for the utility. Especially since I rarely have anyone else with me anymore.
The wagons were featured in Hagerty magazine about 3 years ago to be a car expected to go up in value. They have since then, I personally prefer the sedans. In fact the one I sold to my son-in-law is my first choice. A 1994 Roadmaster Limited Sedan with the V92 towing package. I currently have a 1994 Limited Sedan without the towing package which is my daily driver. I was my late father's. I LOVE that car. And I have a 1995 Roadmaster base Sedan with the towing package and only 38,000 miles.
The 1991-92/Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser version of this car did have the Vista roof. Didnt help with sales but it is the rarest of these wagons to find.
Too bad they discontinued it so soon. Had it gone on to the LT1 years, I would love to own one. They were attractive wagons.
I much prefer these without the wood paneling
Totally agree! I feel they de-contented these after 93 and took cost out…The 91-93 have better dash/instruments/door panels. BUT the 94-96 has the LT1 and 80 more hp. It’s the Roadmaster conundrum for me…. “You get this, but not that OR you get that but not this”
But all said and done, I will opt for the LT-1 over the better door panels and instrument panel.
رمضان مبارك افضل سيارة ماشاء الله ❤❤❤
Beautiful AMERICAN Wagon Sir. Please let us know if you ever decide to sell. Thanks.....
12:41,that car is freshhhh😫😫😫👀
Based on my own experience with Buick cars, definitely it's a much better car to purchase, especially Buick Park Avenue. In my opinion, Buick Park Avenue has spacious interior, smooth ride, luxurious and elegant design. My gallery on RUclips shows this. Pictures worth a thousand words!
Its crazy watching this because you realize all these neat details were ALREADY equipped inside the vehicle and you didnt have to pay for the "elite" or "sports" model to get all of it🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. My mother had a dodge caravan with the wood panel strip going down the side😅❤,pass down car for all of us!😊
I Have blue 1992 Olds Custom Cruiser. Great car.
Very rare. Very nice.
3:22😮,that seat is clean how it flips up like that😢😢😢😢
Yeah it is best to open the rear hatch while riding in it or you may get splash back from getting car sick.
Whats your thought about a delta88? Loved this car when i rode in it!
The beaumont TX comment is hilarious!
Glad someone appreciated it!
@@MostlyBuicks I just bought a green 95 last week. I love it!
@@tariqrahman7148 Congratulations.
This is first Roadmaster/Caprice with elastic trunk cover..I just dont know haw to call this .Regards from Poland.
I do not know what to call it either other than a smuggler's curtain.
I wanted to ask you, does the mechanical fan in these cars cause a slight loss of energy?
Yes. But they also get in the way of some repairs. And they are noisy.
What is the version of the Buick Roadmaster that accelerates from 0-60mph in 6.6 seconds and travels the quarter mile in 14.9 seconds?
1/4 mile in 14.9 is very possible with a stock 1994-96 Roadmaster sedan with the V92 option having 2:93 rear gear. But a 6.6s 0-60 would take some modifications to achieve. Stock is closer to 8s. But these LT-1 engines are receptive to performance mods. And those interested in racing them do put in 3:42 or more rear gears. Basically these can perform about as well as their 1994-96 Chevy Impala cousin or Caprice with the police 9C1 police package, which can do 0-60 in about 7s which typically have 3:08 gears.
In short, put 3:42 gears in a 1994-96 Roadmaster and you will probably see those performance figures you mention.
Excellence in all areas except they are the most appalling design in the history of the automobile.
Please elaborate. Do you mean the aesthetics? I personally hate the door panels, and interior in general. But the seats are very comfortable.
They are just ugly to me. I know they are comfortable. This one is very nice though.@@MostlyBuicks
@@bman3020 I did not take it personally. I just wanted to know what you meant. Yes, I can understand your thoughts on their appearance. I have gotten over that, as it was my initial opinion too.
dude, no one understands your sense of humor. how many cars do you have?!
If you check out “Curious Cars” here on RUclips you will find a small handful of folks enjoy his dry sense of humor
I currently have 5 cars. All either Roadmasters or Fleetwoods. I have owned 86 cars in my life (so far).
@@RustyZipper Yes, Curious Cars is hilarious. I like to pay subtle tribute to a few of the great youtubers who have car channels. Vise Grip Garage, One Owner Car Guy, Saabkyle04, Specialty Motor Cars, Rare Classic Cars and such, even though I am WAY outclassed by any one of them.
