My thoughts on the 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate with the 5.7L V8 and 4 Speed automatic transmission! Want to see my videos early? Join my Patreon! / shooting_cars
I've been daily driving a 95 sedan roadmaster for the last year and a half and i love it. Outruns my friends prelude, can fit a kitchen table in the trunk, even on the sedan, and it's by far the most comfortable thing I've ever driven. I cut the exhaust off mine so it's loud as balls too. Sadly it's rusting away and has gotten to the point that it's not safe to drive. But i will be getting another one in the future, no doubt about that. Great video, great car, and gorgeous color, my favorite 90s color
I'am driving a 1992 Caprice Wagon here in Germany. I LOVE this car. And i can totally agree with all your thoughts about the GM B-Body Wagons. Love them, with all their crazy- and weirdness! 👌😂
I had one. Burgundy with ruby red leather interior. Great gas mileage on highway. Bought it off elderly couple in 2008 for 1500. Ridden like a dream but had an electrical issue. Wished I had kept it
You know damn well if gm brought this back they'd fuck it up. They'd drop the ball and shrug as is rolls away. "Eh just shut the line down and fire everybody"
I always wanted the Olds Custom Cruiser version they are the most rare of the three they only built it for two years unlike the prestigious Buick & most popular Chevrolet and Pontiac did not get a version of this last full size GM Station Wagons
.I had one just like this on that I had purchased in 2008. I kept it for about a year but it kept having electrical problems so I had gotten rid of it. I really loved that car.
Personally I think those are terribly hideous. They’re so ugly that I want one so bad. They’re practical, spacious and so damn hideous that it’s funny. I will go anywhere in the US to drive one of these ugly pieces home. Love these things
Just discovered you channel and this video is awesome! I always ironically wanted one of these when I was in highschool in 2010. If it wasn't for gas prices I'd still be tempted to buy one of these beasts
I’m calling bull on the cornering thing because I just did an emergency evasive maneuver today to avoid a rear end collision with another vehicle in my roadmaster wagon at 70 miles an hour it handled the road did not kick out and kept his composure had huge body roll but did not loose the rear and got around the vehicle without any damage
I own the Oldsmobile equivalent to this Buick, a 1992 Olds Custom Cruiser with a different 5.7 V8. It's my favorite vehicle that I own. My girlfriend didn't understand why I wanted to buy it so bad. It has 58,000 miles when I bought it, 70,000 rn My girlfriend hates the car she says its ugly and out of style LMFAO
Only weird thing i recognize for this video is that laugh, which i thought it was weird kinda video effect work while i wasn´t lookint at screen and it made me rewind the video🤣🤣
had a '94 RM sedan. Much quicker than wagon. 0-60 6.7 sec. 1/4 15.00 sec @ 93. Same as Impala SS. After I sold it it went through a few teens & was still running fine at 250K This & the crown vics are the best economy cars ever built. LFOD !
@@jacobking4106 None. 3 water pumps were the only engine repairs. After I sold it at about 150K the pump went again & the kid just kept adding water. He did destroy the optispark.
My dad always bought GM station wagons. The first one I remember came into the world around the same time as me. Later they would get handed down to me, and I was driving one as recently as 2005. May not have fully appreciated them, but now that they're gone, I really miss them. Might not want one as my daily driver, but would love to have one for fun. Would probably make my local mechanic very happy.
flooring it in D really doesnt give it any justice. downshift to second and stomp it. it will put u in your seat. i have a 95 roadmaster sadan. it wont downshift enough in drive. do it manualy
if you have decent tires, shocks and suspension and know how to throw around one of these land whales, you can corner with confidence like a madman and keep it in your lane. ask me how i know :-D
It does not seem it is running its best. Mine is a monster on the freeway. Why would someone have you review a car that is not in top shape? Heck, it is no fun seeing reviews of jalopies.
I have a 96 estate wagon with the tow package. Has 178,000 miles on it and I’ll never sell it.
BIGLOVE4TRUTH From Europe, I envy you. cooled transmission and what else?
What if I offered $40,000
@@DaRealRoachDoggJr sadly an idiot under the influence side swiped it in 2020 totaling it☹️
@@BIGLOVE4TRUTH wow sorry to hear it my guy : (

this thing is perfect to hang out with the whole gang
When you're a roadmaster, driving a roadmaster while listening to the band roadmaster.

Just seeing you happy in the back seat made me laugh, but I would be scare if someone rear ended the wagon and was in the back there. Great Review!
Thumbs up just for giggling in the backseat! LOL
These are awesome cars. Wish nigh comfy cars were still made.
Feels like someone is floring it in s uhaul while your in the back on a couch. That got me. 😂 Good video sir. Just subscribed btw.
This is quality reviewing. Zach is hilarious!
You know damn well if gm brought this back they'd fuck it up. They'd drop the ball and shrug as is rolls away.
"Eh just shut the line down and fire everybody"
Sitting backwards is actually more safe than fitting forwards. It is just awkward looking at the guy behind you driving.
I just got a custom 91. And I’m in love it’s beautiful and will fit everyone happily

Your review made me happy. I will say, the last car to be made with real wood paneling was the 1958 Roadmaster. 59 onward was fake lament paneling.
I was wondering when the last real wood paneling was used on a wagon. I knew it wasn't in the 70s as he stated. Thank you for that information! 🙂

I well remember a friend from high school had one of these babies! He used to pick us up sometimes went out in it.
YEA BABY LOVE LOVE me some Roadmaster!!!! That ride is dope!
The Buick Roadmaster

energy!
That laugh tho 6:47 🤣
Right? ALL BUSINESS until he hopped into the 3rd row rear facing seat. Then it got great! Zach is amazing!
Probably your funniest review
It might seem strange but this is my dream car

My grandma had a Roadmaster sedan
They use these as hearses in my country
Nice review! I just swapped the Roadmaster climate control into my Fleetwood.
I have a lebaron. Fuck I would love a fleetwood. Those Fleetwood have such a classy ass interior. Love it
what a beauty. One of my dream cars.
The last of the American Trucksters, now that the old school American family hauler is gone, it’s missed.....
I looking for one of these for my dogs to ride in the back. Would've liked to see how the seats fold down.
Awesome video you do a real nice job! and hey I know that guy!
I grew up in a 91, 94, 96 roadmaster/caprice wagons. Dad still has two of them. Can't get him to give me one

No real woodgrain on wagons in the '70s either. You have to go back to the '40s and maybe '50s for a real woody
Enjoyed this a lot, subscribed! Peace from Norway.
Love this review
I’m a owner of a 94 with the powerful 5.7 350

I wish I had more options for a wagon with cloth seats.
I want that car!
