Pretty tough to go through every vise on the market haha. We are definitely giving our honest feedback on products we use and carry in the shop. Thanks for watching!

I have a Regal revolution and a travel vise. I can put the either of the two vise heads for the travel vise and put them on the revolution stem, it works just fine.

yeah you can but its not recommend and falls under the stability we talk about. Regal calls in "in line mechanics" I believe. The medalion jaw will will rotate without the counter balance when using the rotary function making it not perform as well.

Right after watching this I was scrolling down and the RUclips algorithm immediately presented me with the Amazon option for purchase. Felt kinda weird. Good luck competing with Amazon.

Develop the skills and you won’t need to spend more than $50 on a vise

fly fishing and fly tying is the absolute opposite of "NEED"..... I agree there is a point of diminishing returns, but there are many factors with a $150-$250 vise that you can't touch with a $50 pakistani vise.

@@paulobainz1210 of course not... but you will not be able to become a really great driver in a shitbox car which is hampered by overall poor quality. I'm not saying anyone needs to spend ridiculous money on a vise, I'm simply saying there is a large jump in quality from $50 to $150-$200 range. I tied on a couple cheap paki vises for many many years, after all, it just holds a hook right? My tying enjoyment, therefore the quality of my work improved when I could finally justify a nicer vise.
