Fantastic video dude. I love your niche of fashion content in relation to different music subcultures. I've always considered fashion and music to go hand in hand with each other. Keep up the good work man!!
Exactly that my same way of thinking as music evolves style changes at the same time and reflect the music/culture at the moment and thank you so much 😭 more to comeee 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Casuals were huge 1980s onwards, britpop brought back as a retro thing, even today these labels are popular love the gear myself,im a huge sex pistols fan they had great style after viv westwood design all the clothes.
Yes the Sex pistols music and style is phenomenal, love the diy blazers/pins and tartan looks and yeah from what I researched Britpop style was like a revival of sorts 🇬🇧 , didn't know about Casuals before doing this video I have to give them a listen 🎧
@@retroazul casuals was a style of dress,in uk where people wore designer labels, often from europe, tennis wear, golf wear, and lots more, in 1990s timberland, ralph lauren, and schott, all from usa became the style, casual, is not the name of band its a subculture.
@@retroazul sex pistols clothes, were designer gear in a punk way, viv westwood went on to be a top designer in the fashion world, sex pistols met in sex shop, which sold this gear, sold by viv westwood and malcolm maclearn, ive got a huge sex pistols collection, demos, soundcheck live recording ie bootlegs and much more, thanks for yhe reply also seen pistols 6 times on reuion tours, they had amazing style of dress, which was well designed, and had a different look to the diy punks.
@@markgreet3543 omg I am so jealous 😵😭 you are a big fan 🇬🇧🤘🏽 I have just a book 2 books one about Sid vicious and the other one about their career with behind the scenes pictures, yeah the collaboration between Westwood and McLaren was magic for the punk scene and the designer looks of the Sex Pistols are so lit 😭 did my first diy tartan blazer inspired from John Lyndon and Sid Vicious style at the time it came out pretty good (is featured on the Nana video that came out 2 days ago) want to do another one🤙🏾
