    I’m planning my first trip to Canada, Toronto-Montreal-Ottawa. And I’m trying to learn as much as possible about moving around the cities and make this trip smoother. Thank you for your tips. I wish I’d seen this video before booking the trip from Toronto to Montreal in this bus 😅😅

    I wanted to take the megabus yesterday night from Toronto to Montreal ... It was fully packed and just seeing the seats and the space; I could not see myself there for 6h... So I left ...
    Buses I took in Mexico and even the Philippines were more comfortable. So; whatever the price; it is not worth it for me (especially that driving is about the same price for 1 person!). I was not impressed; and kinda sad, I wanted to relax and be driven for once... But it is Canada, everything is made for cars here ...

      @LivinginCanada  День назад +1

      I can understand that, I wasn't impressed at all either. I guess it only works for people who need a particular connection/schedule and don't have a car. Even the GO buses are still better, I just wished they had a larger network!

    Hi, I just got back from Montreal to Toronto and to Niagra falls using Megabus. I found the seats on the double deck bus way too uncomfortable and I had to keep shifting sitting positions as I felt that the chairs did not properly support the spine and the only way to stop the pain is by putting a travel pillow behind my back. I think the seats are okay for a couple hours but beyond that it becomes uncomfortable. I agree that the first four seats on the top are the best seats and wish I saw this video before booking. Also the seats behind the stairs does give a bit more leg room so if I ever use Megabus it will be one of those seats. As for the Toronto- Niagra leg I found that a lot better because instead of the double deck bus it was a coach bus which had better seats. Also we thought we were going to just the Niagra falls terminal but when the driver announced that there is another stop at the falls, he let us stay on.

      Thanks for sharing! I've never taken the Megabus to Niagara, but it's good to know that it has better seats, I might try it!

    Hi, thank you for the video! 🙂It really helps a lot, especially for first time travellers to Canada. Just wondering, are there any other bus operators other than Megabus to get from Toronto to Montreal or Montreal to Quebec or Toronto to Quebec?

    • @LivinginCanada
      @LivinginCanada  Год назад +1

      You're welcome! Not that I'm aware of. As mode of transportation there is ViaRail and airplane though. I took the ViaRail to Montreal once, you can find a video about this on my channel.

    Wondering how they check the ticket since there is just a reservation number on my ticket to authentificate it. For example flixbus uses a qr code to authentificate... Did they take a serious look on the ticket or just a quick check?

    • @LivinginCanada
      @LivinginCanada  2 года назад +1

      During my specific trip they took a quick look at it. I forgot if they scanned it. I guess with those thousands trip they do they got the method of fast-checking down! In any case, there are only so many seats on the bus so it would be hard for someone to fake their way into a seat lol.
