Carbon: the game that you can cheese super easy from the get go
You can unlock 240SX and smoke every boss as its best car ingame and is good enough even in Darius turf
But the hilarious part is if you unlock the Jaguar XK without beating any bosses
You and your crewmate will be Tier 2 cars while everyone else is Tier 1
I played way too much of this game ngl
This reminds me of the times when I played some sort of New Game +.
After finishing the career, I would sell all my cars, but one, than impound the last car. In that scenario the game is over and you can chose to restart it. Everything unlocked in the prior career will be available from the start, so I used to buy a tier 3 tuner back when I was racing Tier 1 cars.

The man was running to throw out his trash, tripped over Nikki, accidentally took her bag and threw the money in the trash. Magnus Walker was sitting there. He took this money and bought himself a Porsche.
Poor Colin, while the rest of the crew members gets to do wacky cool poses, he just has to stand there and do absolutely nothing with the most bored facial expression.

That tier 3 wolf double loss was a massive skill issue
just tune your car to maximum understeer, and tune your turbo to be slightly towards low rpms

I low key have always liked Carbon more than MW. The graphics were a massive improvement since they got rid of the piss filter lol. Especially with modern mods, Carbon has so much potential.

Back when it came out, a lot of us DID consider it a direct sequel. Then we all finished the game within 3 hours and went "oh, that was it?"

Idk why but the sense of speed in Carbon isn’t as intense as MW. Its crazy no NFS has matched that speed aggression since.

Carbon is the first NfS game I didnt like back then: To me it tried to get into the Underground night vibe again, combining it with Toky Drifts canyon races, I didnt like the crew thing, police was nerfed and the games story was random and short. Solid game but not as iconic to what came before...
