Excellent Video!!! Thanks Wit Rigs. Just to add minor comment to this video - with the latest iOS update, if your replacement battery is not an Apple authorized part, the phone will show an annoying "Important Battery Message". I still have not found a way to suppress this error message.
@@EricWitrigs yes, there is no difference in battery performance except a lot of cheaper. Hopefully, the annoying message will disappear in 15 days time
@@er3117 The error battery message will disappear in 15days. However, please note iphone battery health monitor will not work if the battery is not original. I suspect it is to do with the 2 little battery connectors ....
Cons are that it’s not easy to do if you’ve never done it before, you also void warranty if you have any left, and you gamble on putting in a shit battery that might be just as bad as your dying OEM battery. If you can’t do it yourself, bring it to a reputable shop to do the repair, cheaper doesn’t mean better, the labor is the same, you’re only saving money because they put in a crap battery for you.
I think the "Battery Health" is not credible. Half of my iPhone XS Max battery got broken, and the other half is still working, my phone can't last a whole day. However, the maximum capacity in the battery health still shows 100%.

Obviously this feature is designed to let us buy expensive batteries, he does not have any difference with ordinary batteries.

What about coding the battery?? Battery must have the same serial number as the original and then code it. You did not show or tell that!
