@@thatsgangsta2450 non impacts just crack after a while or with a lot of torque. Tbh for most car stuff they'll be fine with decent quality sockets. I've always pulled the engines on these big cruisers by lifting them up over the front cross member with a garden variety engine crane. But it does help to remove the bull bar. I don't recommend cutting any metal to remove the engine!
Next time you have to get the top bell housing bolts out remove the gearbox crossmember and lower the box down until you can fit a socket on a few extensions on top of the box. Also remove the fan shroud so the fan doesn't get caught up when the engine is pivoting

Keen to follow the rest of the build but damn that history lesson wasn’t very good, the 40s and 60s had the 2h diesels aswell as the 12h-t in the 60s then the 80s had the 1hz, 1hd-t and 1hd-ft then the 105s had the 1hz and the 100s had the 1hd-fte, now the 70s and 200s have the 1vd-ftv. (Abbreviations T-turbocharged, F-multivalve, E-electronic fuel injection, V-common rail)
105 did come in diesel, just not turbo diesel. They came out with the 1hz, unbelievably slow but they kept chugging through most obstacles. The 1hdfte would have made them much more popular/capable
Thanks for sharing. I was exited to see this video as I have 100 series and thinking of converting to Diesel, but where is the rest of the conversion? Only one video!!! Also want to know if I have to change my AT of my 100 series!!!!

AS a Nissan owner you are forgiven for not knowing the better Toyota engines. There was never a 1HZ-T it went 1HZ (NA indirect mechanical injection 12 valve), 1HDT (Turbo Direct mechanical Injection 12 valve), 1HD-FT (Turbo Direct mechanical injection 24 valve), , then the God engine the 1HD-FTE (Turbo Direct electronically controlled injection 24 valve).

Yeah your history is bit off, but we will let you off since you atleast are slowly been converted to toyota's (cough). Putting money on the wreckers didn't give you immobilizer.
the solid axle 105’s came with a diesel !?!?, it was the 1hz it wasn’t turbo but it’s not a bad engine, you also entirely missed the 1hdt and the 1hdft
If that gearbox is an R151 it will not handle the FTE turbo diesel. You need a H151 box. The difference in size is dramatic. If you plan to tow a van with it, the H151 box will need a tow pack upgrade. Toyota gives you just enough strength in the gearbox to handle a worn petrol engine.......
Can someone explain to me the correct history? Haha
