The 2005 championships is one of my favorite top 8. I played a a lot standard in 2005 and 2006 and I loved this deck. You want to have real fun? Make all decks from this top 8 and have friends over to replay the championship! Just to note ravnica was the only set legal from that block during the championships . Guildpact wasn’t out yet.
Worth noting that while lockdown was quite important part of this deck, it had build-in alternative win condition via swarm. That was probably its biggest strength - it could either lock you from the game or just quickly poke holes in your health with Saprolings supported by Umezawa's Jitte and Loxodons.

Yeah I never saw the deck as a prison deck like stasis, but a Great midrange beat down control option
