- Went E-biking through some random industrials lol. I talk a bit about the "Kaniwaba Power Pedal Kit V3.0" for the MX3 and the R MX4.
Disclaimer: The Kaniwaba Pedal Kit(s) may work different for you, I'm just speaking on my own experience with one of the kits.
If you're into these riding/cruising videos, make sure to subscribe. It would be much appreciated! Peace and be safe!

The video is pretty awesome! The Mic works awesome!
Thank you for the feedback! I was considering switching the audio setup but I think it's fine how it is ha.
I put some shinko 241 trials tires on mine. you can easily fit a 2.75x19 up front and the 3.50x19 fits the rear, but it might rub a little on the swing arm brace at the bottom/front of the swing arm (a file can make room, or just let it rub and self clearance the tire) it looks badass with the skinny/fat setup. You might be lucky that your transmission is shifted so it pushes the chain more to the outside. I also threw the 250mm front brake kit from Rippin' Moto, 100% worth it. I have been slowly going to parkrose hardware and replacing all the chrome/silver bolts with blacked out bolts, going to try and fully murder it out without using any spray paint on bolts.
Also, right after I bought my talaria I found out about the "cyclone big boy", holy crap, it looks like it has so much more power than the Talaria for about the same price :(
All black beauty 🔥⚡👉
I would buy the Sting R in a quick minute but it is over 106 degrees here and will be for the next couple of months. I will wait until it cools and maybe there will be something new and exciting come on the market.
Yea these last few weeks I've been feeling that heat for sure!
This guys is so underrated
I kind of like it haha. Thanks for watching!
He's putting out the best MX4 content too
He needs to be monetized at least! Lol
@@Flvidity Ay I appreciate that. Idk I think Mason Jagat is killin it. That mf is funny af lolll.

If the pedals keeps the police 👮♂️ away than hey I’m with that . I would just swap the pegs back when needed. Better than having to register it as a moped. 😂
Haha Yessir. You got the right idea for sure!
thats the exact reason I want the ped kit too
@@catmanflorida2839 right cheat code 💯🫡
@@Randumbly save that extra money for upgrades & parts lol 😂
But some people told me that even with the pedal kit the police can impound the bike or pill you over and need to register as mopped so I am very confuse , I really want to get an talaria xxx
Hi and thanks for the vid. Do you find it weird while riding with just the pedals flopping around because there is no chain ??
I enjoyed your videos. Sound is pretty good. I used to live in Oceanside so I really enjoyed the cruises. Have you cruised "the strand"? A good ride. One of my fav's is Hwy 101 along the coastline. Spectacular! Can't wait to get my Talaria in June! I have a question: I didn't see a license plate so the Talaria doesn't have to be registered? Do the police bother you?
Thank you, I appreciate that feedback! Yea I've cruised the strand on the northside of the pier, I just make sure I cruise at a mellow pace when down there. All the ones I've come across have been chill. They're not saying anything when I ride by so I mean...lol I think as long as you're not riding like a maniac you should be good.
Bro we seem to live and ride in the same areas this is trippin me out. I wanna meet a riding buddy. I'd love to show you some hidden mild trails and such
Lol. I just made an Instagram, hit me up on there.
U need way more then 23 views
Haha that would be nice.
🤔⚡️pedal kit looks good👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Yea for the most part they look fine. But there are some days I'm so close to just taking them off lol. But if they can "help" in the meantime then they're staying on for sure lol. Be safe bro! 🤙🏾
@@Randumbly What's the biggest problems you find with them? just got a talaria and thinking of getting a pedal kit to go around the city in it? And do you know if the normal pedal kit not the power one pedal still turn? dont wanna buy something that i might not even be able to use the feature
@@horseboi2881 The "Power Pedal Kit" is the one that "propels" the bike, the "Pedal Kit" are just pedals. But in my experience, the small included chain that connects the freewheel to the output shaft on the gearbox would touch the frame, and if I slid it over just a few mm, then it came close to touching the actual chain on the bike. There wasn't that much room for it. Some people have said that it doesn't actually damage the frame when touching (Idk who or what to believe), but I'm not trying to hear that annoying sound it makes when it does rub up against it lol. So I just ran it without the chain.
@@Randumbly The pedals are just there then? they cant move what so ever? i dont really care about propeling the bike as long as the pedals will still go around
@@horseboi2881 Yea they're just there lol. With the basic "Pedal Kit", you can spin them around freely, there's just no resistance because they're not connected to anything. With the "Power Pedal Kit" (which I got) I just didn't install the chain, so they spun freely as if it were just the basic "Pedal Kit"....
question, if you trottle only the pedal will not spin? ill try to get one so cops will not eye me always lol
Where ypu buy the rearview mirrors?
Does the pedals feel nice while riding and not using them? Can you rest your feet on them like you would on pegs without the pedals moving?
Yes
so, as you didn't install the small chain included with the pedal kit, the bike won't run mechanically if you pedal? Right now are just aesthetic function? I wonder this 'cause I just bought a Talaria and wanted to install this very same pedal kit to it
Correct. Now they're pretty much the same as the most basic and cheapest model "Pedal Kit" from Kaniwaba, the one with no chain. I'm not sure how or why that "chain touching the frame" thing hasn't been updated or fixed by Kaniwaba by now. I'm sure it will eventually, but who knows ha. You can try it for yourself though and see if you figure something out. If you do, let me know lol.
@@Randumbly have you tried the workaround explained in this video? ruclips.net/video/QbFIoQ_oumE/видео.html
@@jukastudios I actually did. I tried moving both the spindle and the actual freewheel and couldn't really find a sweet spot to where the small chain wasn't either touching the frame or the other chain.
@@shockadellick Damn that's brutal. Were you able to slide the two connecting front sprockets onto the drivetrain without removing the swingarm? I wasn't able to. Also do you know any possible workarounds?
Ah I see. Yea I actually had to give it a little tap action as well haha.
Yea Idk, I just felt like taking the chain off just until there's a newer version, that's if I even want a pedal kit anymore lol.
I'm gonna check that out, that's good to know though for sure.
can you just attach it to the outside and not have to use the pedals for power, just for standing?
Yup...There's also a basic pedal kit on their site that doesn't power or propel the bike, it's their cheapest kit.
Next big change will be batteryless
unlimited travel. There working on that as we speak. Automatic cluthes.
If I put the pedals will be street legal? I am afraid to get one, I live in santa monica , I do not want to get problems with police but I am confused with all the information, some people said be careful and other said that I can get my bike impounded soo😢
I am so confuse with the information I hear about this dirt bikes, help me to undestand please, if I put the pedals then the police won't bother me , if I put the pedals I do not need to register it as mopped? And do I need a licence ?
im sure the law in your area states it has to have functional pedals...
Whats the difference between the electronic power pedal and the power pedal kit
"Electronic Power Pedal Kit" uses a sensor by the pedals that can assist the bike when you pedal. It comes with a switch with 3 modes: "Pedal assist only, Pedal assist and throttle and Throttle only".
"Power Pedal Kit" uses a small chain that connects to the jackshaft (drivetrain) so when you pedal the bike it will propel forward like a normal bike, not by much at all though, you roll slowly lol.
Wait so the pedals don’t work and you just use the bike as normal? (I’d actually prefer this)
Lol pretty much 😂
Could u link the exact model of this pedal kid? I want it for my talaria but there’s so many options
Go to the Kaniwaba website, and look for the "TALARIA Sting MX3 & R MX4 Power Pedal Kit V3.0". "Power Pedal Kit" is the one I have.
@@Randumbly thank u
Where did you get those mirrors
They're kinda cheap tbh. If you go on Amazon and type in "oskal bike mirrors" a few should be listed. They all look the same but just have different "company names" lol. A tip for if you get some...use some tiny little rubber bands and wrap a bunch around the "swivel" joints to keep them from turning when riding fast or through wind...it will kind of hold the "joints" in place.
I work right there lol.
Really?...Did you see me that day lol
@@Randumbly nah haha it’d be sick if I did tho.
If when I'm up there again, if you see me, yell out. lol.
How are you liking it?
The bike or the pedals? lol. The bike I love. The pedals are alright I guess lol. They be lookin funny af sometimes but they're chillin ha.
@@Randumbly yeah i meant the wack ass pedals lol! I been looking to get them just so i dont get harassed
🤣 Then get em, why do you think I got em lmao.
So the pedal kit would "ebike" it and mean you wouldn't need tail light etc.
Sounds kinda dope to me. Doesn't look that bad tbh.
I don't even know at this point anymore tbh lol. I hear and see so many different things I don't know what to believe 😂. They sometimes looks funny but I don't really care, I still rock em lol
@@Randumbly I think they look fine bro! Just like any other ebike. That bike with the pedal kit is next on my list-- and I'll ride till the cops stop me.
Yea for the most part they're alright to me. There's just a few times where I've wanted to go back to the pegs, but in the meantime if they can "help", then they're staying on lol. Ride Safe! 🤙🏾
@@Randumbly I've been riding a Wallke H6 and a Varla Pegasus. The scooter is waaaay more fun because of the acceleration. I think the Talaria will scratch the itch better in the safer bike format. If(!) I can get away with riding it in my city. Not very many people ride PEVs here so it's sort of new territory to see how the police react.
Dude the scooter game is crazy haha. I still haven't been on a fast one yet. Is Varla a pretty reputable company? And yea the times are kind of weird and unpredictable with PEV's here in cali, that's why I been hitting trails and little tracks more often than before now, every once in a while I'll hit the streets.
