- While I was out filming this video, I didn't realize that this "first ride" on the new Talaria XXX (X3) would also be the last loll. I go over how and why I sold my Talaria Sting R MX4 and how I was able to order an XXX so fast. Warning: This bike is extemely loud lol.....
Everything I discuss on these bikes, in any of my videos, are just my personal opinions. Both the Talaria Sting R and the Talaria XXX are more than great bikes and I couldn't recommend either of them enough. This is not a review, I'm just mellow cruising. This is definitely not a sponsored video lol. I ordered/purchased this bike myself.

@@beetho6552 I mean I literally had mine for a full 2 days maybe, so when I sold it, it was pretty much still new. Listed it for what I got it for, so I didn't really lose anything. Considering how high demands these are, at least for now, you would probably get a lot of offers. I had tons of people message me.
I bought a sur ron 5 year ago and it got stolen. I got paid by the insurance company and never bought another one. Last week the Glendale, CA police called me and they had found my sur ron. I went there and paid $295 impound fee and now I have my old sur ron back. It runs great but needs a few new parts. I have new wheels and tires and fork coming but I am happy with it and love having a cheap sur ron.
Damn that's a crazy story man. The 5 year old Surron awakens lol. Might consider getting one of those airtags now for sure ha. You oughta make a video on that and installing the new parts 🤙🏾. Be safe!

i’ve noticed with the xxx sharp turns off-roading the front fender hits your leg and also the throttle is hard to hold at a constant pace once going a certain speed
I didn't even get a chance to throw the fender on lol, but that makes sense. And I think I know what you mean about the throttle, like at a certain speed it would be kinda jumpy. I mean I'm no "throttle expert" lol but that did feel weird.

I got 2 Surrons and the Mx4. Surron feels like a kids toy after riding the Mx4. I would imagine the xxx would feel the same way just faster. And with that rear suspension on the xxx it just wont cut it for me. Mx4 is a no brainer but thats just my opinion. My son is 11 and has a surron and wants me to sell it to get him the MX4. He walks right passed his surron now.
Yea wish I could have all 3 lol. Or take things from each one of the bikes and put it into one 😂.

this bike looks great but i cant get over the sound of it i kind of want to experience the silence of the road if i were to ride an ebike which this does not do that for me. the design is so nice tho i cant get over how great it looks
the MX4 is SUPER quiet compared to their screaming little brother the XXX.
talaria guys use to work at sur ron and what they did in a year compare to ron in 4years is incredible anyways peace!

A nice upgrade for these bikes would a carbon fiber belt, I don't know if these belts can handle the power though.

if you're talking about belt drive, they have a kit for surrons. would like to see if I can do similar on my mx4

Unless the size of the bike benefits you, i would rather have the mx4. Tbh I got the xXx for the price only and the size is a benefit that it fits in my car.
If any errors with the xXx just disconnect all cables and re connect .

I'm not sure, I think I saw a video of someone talking about an overheat shut-off when the bike gets too hot.

I noticed how loud it is (when I ride mine) but it seems not even noticeable when someone else is riding one next to you. Like all the noise only goes to the rider lol

There has to be a way to quite down that clicky hum sound of I am guessing the drive that meets the chain or belt.. There ought to be something that could dampen that sound cause that's the only thing keeping m from buying a Talaria XXX
Yeah i mean you could definitely dampen the sound but its always going to make noise. Its all the moving parts.
Love my Surron, but you'll probably end up back with the r again :)

@@Randumbly you can't go wrong with the surron. Had mine since 2021 and the plan was to sell it after I got my mx4. As much as I love my MX4, still got both (for now at least). You made some good points about the Surron out of the box and only gets better with upgrades :)
Yea imo, I feel like the Surron is a more solid feeling bike. I also want to mess around on some trails and jumps, and I just feel like I would enjoy it much more on a Surron lol....I wish I could have all the bikes 😂.

Yea I had to literally hit refresh every chance I could lol and one day it just said "Add to Cart" so I ordered super quick. I don't really rely on those email notifications that sites have, that's just me though. You'll be able to grab one soon I'm sure. Or who knows, maybe something else will be announced or released that's even better, tbh I wouldn't be surprised lol.

Haha yea that bike is a trip. I think certain factors play a role in certain situations: rider weight/battery percentage/terrain/etc., but ultimately for that price, the xxx is a monster for sure. Just sucks the price got raised on it lol.

I'm 6'0 200lbs and it felt fine to me. I have long legs too lol. Didn't feel cramped or anything. The bike may appear small underneath you from afar or in a reflection, but not to where it looks weird or anything.

Ay thanks bro! So far I've just been using a GoPro 11 with some deadcats and a windslayer around the outside. After all this time though, I've realized I could have just used either the Hero 9 or 10 and it still would've produced the same quality vids lol. But it's mounted right near the chin of my helmet. No external mic or anything....although I've been curious as to if I can find a certain mic would be able to pick up more of my voice than the bike, because sometimes the bike be sounding loud lol.

Haha nice man. I feel like AZ would have a bunch of legit off road spots for these things. But yea the xxx is a solid unit and feels so good to whip around with. Nice and light but solid. I say a few times that the bike is loud af lol, but that's just because I'm coming from the R which is the quietest of the three (Sting R, XXX, Surron) imo. The camera can also make the bike sound a little louder than it actually is. Be safe bro!
Mx4 is cool bu5 idk just feel like replacing a belt or just upgrading to chain is way better than having to buy a new gearbox when that thing decides to say bon voyage and yes sorry to tell you not all things last forever..😢

Do you mean adjust preload and rebound? I hadn't even really messed with the suspension at all when I had the bike. I'm not sure, I'm sure someone will though ha.

Tbh I know nothing about the Segway bikes. From what I've seen they are a bit less powerful right? I mean I guess it depends on how or where you ride. That's cool that there's those other options though for sure.

Yea that's one good thing about the noise, but honestly so many people are clueless on the road anyway, whether your bike is screaming or completely silent, the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, ebikers etc., in most cases, are the last thing they're worried about lol. That's just my opinion.

its just loud for an ebike, loud enough to turn heads and get attention from people nearby but not dirtbike loud.
What is your process with the battery and taking it out? Im confused why not just leave it in the bike and charge it with the connecter on the side.
I just like to easily take the battery out and bring it in with me for reasons like theft or fires or whatever. Idc what anyone says about whether or not the battery is fine in the bike, this is still a brand new bike and I'm not taking any chances 😂😂.
