Here's the guide to playing the Legion class mod for Darkest Dungeon! He's a capable attacker with tons of mark, guard and riposte synergy and a unique Bloodlust system.

Indeed it does! I figure that out on the quest at the end, but it's good to have that here in the comments as well in case people are confused early in the vid. Thanks!
Does it need another trinket to go with it to activate Legatus mode? For some reason it doesn't work for me
@@bonesthemilkman2691 no, you need to crit and then you enter bloodlust 0. Then you can use Stoic Duty to switch between 0 and 7.
I recommend that anyone who uses this mod also use the 3/4 trinkets mod because he needs to equip both of his CC trinkets alongside his CoM trinket, since the CC set bonus relies on entering 0 or 7 bloodlust, which you can only do with the CoM trinket equipped.

Yeah! He's been on my list for awhile now, and I'm glad I finally got to him.
I absolutely adore the visuals for this class, but it's definitely a complicated one to actually play.

This is a really good class, and if it can play in Black Relique, it is going to rock methinks. The 1st round- 'do stuff other than attack' is perfect for the Legionair.
What are the odds you asked towards the end....
Hidden SQuiDZ did a play through of BR and went 2 full rounds when none of his characters hit, and evidently after all the math they all had 80-90% to hit. Meanwhile, the other side crit-ed every hit all on one not marked target.

Pair him up with the commandant and give in the iron embrace and some prot relica and the guy becomes a tank

lmao. such a risky move. guarding the entire team. you just got hit by so many plagues and vomit comets. :V Shoulda gone for vici crits to set him into the right mode. Then when that happens you switch to giving him double move at 0 so he guards all. then immediately go into 7 and go martial pride. Then if he gets low move someone forward on him and then make him step forward with the skill next turn you can for the small heal to tide him over for a heal from probably a dedicated healer or a strong burst healer like the templar with lay on hands.
I can see him going probably quite good with someone like the Meister for the full team mark, or commandant for giving him damage reflect once he changes tacts or picking targets with pistol. I'm feeling though to set up powerful combos he kinda needs to sit in 2nd at the very least... although I do smell potential for getting him Sideshow act and so-on, so that these crits you fish for will heal everyones stress. Also being an all guard riposte boy, I could probably see him just farming money out of every enemy using said combination with everyone else on the team just backing him up and being guarded by him.
also, wenches pitcher from banshee mod's trinkets, probably breaks him. with all the friendly self used skills he's got. he can just change bloodlust or do a buff to heal himself. then you just gotta get his accuracy back up for it. :V
the range attack doesnt have sounds

He is pretty damn potent, yeah. I don't know that I would go so far as to say he's OP, necessarily. But, then again, I let mine die...so what do I know? lol
Master Psyberry it’s just the mass guard I take issue to, guarding every single unit and focusing ur healing on just him is very effective
Also at maximum bloodlust in a marking party he just 2-hits bosses, it’s brokenly overpowered.
Denis Yeh there is that as well, so op on both attack and defence and very flexible but he is still fun to use

Do not let bloodlust go more than 2 if you dont want to get debuffed so hard even pig spit buries your Legion
