Duckjumping was NOT allowed in this tournament and e-STRO disputed MYM for doing it later in the tournament after they had lost to them, and e-STRO eventually moved on despite losing to MYM

The duck-jump thing just makes you go SILENT with the same running speed. Of course they were pissed off - they were like fighting these friggin' ninjas!

You can duckjump-run without binding the mousewheel.
For example on catwalk when he looks down out the middle-doors he's only "jumping" to see down, that's fine. But in all the other clips he does duckjump-run so he doesn't make a sound, and it looks like it helped him a lot in different places.
Dual-moral indeed.

Other teams were successfully disputed for double-tapping crouch in this tournament, by e-STRO infact (which is why they're hypocrites). It was a stupid rule but it's also stupid for players to not just quit doing it. Amateur league players manage to change their habits so why can't the pros? This thing turned into a huge mess

crouch run is illegal in CAL but that doesn't mean that it is illegal in everything else

@missionauto for the 10th time, it was explicitly FORBIDDEN in this tournament. Solo, the player in this video, and his team were knocked out of the tournament by MYM. They complained to the admins about MYM duckjumping which eventually lead to eSTRO moving on instead of MYM. The video shows that eSTRO duckjumped themselves. So, they got their opponents DQed for doing something that they did themselves, hypocrites. The reason it could happen was because the admins were very biased.

sillent-run is allowed if you use the keyboard, you can't bind it on scroll.

There is a difference between DUCKJUMP [duck] + [jump] (to jump on boxes etc.) and RUSSIAN DUCK / SILENT RUN [duck]x2 (walk almost as fast as normal but only every second step can be heard)
Duckjumping is aloud! But what estro did wasn't duckjumping, it was russian duck!

this very team had a match overturned because they said their opponents did it and here they are doing it themselves

not once did I see solo crouch hop more than 3 times... and most of the time it wasn't in a spot where it would've mattered.. also, a few of those "crouch hops" you clipped were just him peaking over a ledge or duck peaking a corner which are both legal..

thats not illegal duckjumping - obviously many of you here have not played in any tournament before. he is allowed to crouch jump using his crouch button only, and not more than once(in succession) - check the wcg rules.

most leagues nowadays allow crouchhops as long as you can do it without having duck bound to mousewheel. For example, CEVO allows constant bhop and crouchhop as long as its not bound to your mousewheel and you're able to actually do it with ctrl keys. Its do-able. And how do they figure out if the bounds are done legitly? clients.

at :05, :50, 1:02 he did it twice in succession. IMO it doesnt matter if he did it twice or once successively, bottom line is, a silent run is still silent run and players can do it erratically that officials almost dont notice at all. for fairness sakes, duckjump on crouch button should be restricted on big tourneys like these

u can silent run with default keys dude.. if u tap ctrl u can do it and its fine for peeking and stuff
