@@PAULSGEO Finland has a very high percentage of citizens who are willing to fight against an "enemy" (Russia, most likely) in order to protect their homeland. It is not abuse of men in any way. If you want to you can choose civil service instead.

Then if you so choose, you can continue to a military academy, which is basically a university where you graduate as an officer. You can also continue working in the military as a non-commissioned officer depending of your skills etc. I doubt he will stay in Finland, though. He still likes to play basketball.
It’s funny he is the Marksman but seriously the sports school is under the Guards Jaeger Regiment and effectively is a Reconnaissance Company and they have forward observers and scout snipers so he might be an actual sniper soon.😂
