in your video editing software, select the audio track and normalize the highs to no more than 0db, you might also throw on some light compression.

Maybe you should add a limiter at the end of the master bus chain to keep your transients in check. That's what's clipping the audio. Just lower the volume coming into the master chain (with a volume plugin or something) and increase the gain back in the limiter to get the volume back.
