I love that part
I like how Margot’s version of the Voice has a slightly different modulation in this seduction as opposed to the command version. And I never noticed it before but Feyd is also using a more constant version of the Voice to exert his influence over others (even the Baron), only in this case, it doesn’t work.
Don't you hate it when this happens?
No
I just love everytime Lea Seydoux tells me to come to her
Interesting that Feyd dreams about Margot before they meet, does that imply he's prescient like Paul (who also dreamt about Chani)? It'd explain why their duel in the film is on an equal footing compared to the novel.
Danger, na-Baron! Spurgler Alarm!
Outstanding acting!
Remember, this could be YOUR girlfriend.
Phenomenal acting.
‘Put your right hand in the box.’
That’s what she said. 😂
Elvis would be shocked! All shook up!
he is next riddick
Best scene in a great movie
Feyd, puts the hot in psychotic.
Why psychotic
@@FEYD-RAUTHA.NA-BARON because that's what he was called and labeled in the movie 🎬

Oh man...
Now I wonder if their daughter Marie will have some role in sequel.
She does, a small one, but yeah. Im sure Denis will include it because she is important to Alia, Pauls sister.
And after that Paul almost seduced Feyd-Rautha without even realizing 😄, the moment he killed the Baron. I mean, at least that's how Austin Butler appears to play it XD
The one thing no villain has ever been powerful enough to resist is that Lea Seydussy
Pretty decent ASMR.
I bet Paul would have preferred to have this test instead 😂
Визуальный кайф от каждой секунды фильма!
Omg
OOoOoOoOh man this scene gives me the fvcking willies!
If this is what it is to deal with the Benne Gesserite, then I pity any who cross their path...

Lady Margot BUT NO COUNT FENNRING WOW BRO

This Feyd guy looks goofy!
Shut up too
So the Harkonnen's aren't truly wiped out then? The Atredeis line through Paul and whatever child Feyd had?
By the time of Dune Messiah and Children of Dune it doesnt matter - they all die.
SPOILER
Even Brian Herbert retconned this by having the daughter killed
Their 'bloodline' survives but they're not counted as one of the Great Houses anymore
@@timetochronicleyeah, Alia kills the little demon spawn
@@timetochronicle Brian Herbert fanfic doesn’t mean anything so Feyd’s daughter was probably fine.
@@carlbates9110 Well if she's fine she mattered little in everything up to Chapterhouse Dune. There's no mention of a succeeding Harkonnen in anything else except fanfic. Yes, that includes the Dune Encyclopedia, which was also fanfic.
Feyd Rautha was an animal. He would have failed the test if it were administered honestly.
ur not allowed in this section 🤓

What *was* he doing away from the celebrations? That was the one bit I didn’t understand all too well.
Thinking about his imminent appointment as ruler of Arrakis
He mentions in the conversation he dreamt about her, then it is implied his dream was sexual in nature. Then later on while talking to the others, she says he's sexually vulnerable. Now, it's safe to assume with all that info he dreams of the future like Paul and wanted this particular dream to become true which is why he wasn't in his own celebration, wondering the castle alone instead. He was looking for her, looking for the woman in his hot and heavy dream
All I saw was Elvis lol, he totally ruined the illusion for me
Can you imagine the Star Wars writers watching this movie and then thinking of the crap they put out.
W rizz be like
As much as I ignore the plot of this entire scene due to its irrelevancy, it's well done and does have the only good and accurate use of the Voice in the series so far.
It's not an irrelevant scene. Properly understanding Feyd as a counterpart to Paul changes the interpretation of the movie. This scene and the subsequent scene with Lady Margot also helps flesh out the Bene Gesserit breeding program for the movie
@@grottphd9090 for me it is. I honestly was a bit disappointed with how they handled Feyd. It left me feeling sorry for him. I think that going with the original story for the arena scene with the intelligent ruthless Feyd would have been perfect.
As for the mirror, you really don't need one. You get it halfway through the film. Still kind of hoping that Chani at least mutes Jessica in Messiah for what she did in that scene
@@Johnston212 for me this feyd came off as much more of a threat than in the book
In the grand scheme of things this scene won't bring much to the table
I'm not even sure that books mention what happened to their child
Lea Seydoux still oses Bond girl sex appeal!
Why didn't she say "put your right hand in the hole"? It's obviously a hole.
No the box
This scene does not exist in the book. A seduction is alluded to in a conversation between Lady and Count Fenring, but is never depicted. And certainly no Gom Jabbar test.
