    From a small town on the interior of BC, but have always wanted to make a trip to the east coast to experience that side of Canada. Beautiful city!

    Thank you very much for sharing this amazing informative RUclips video. We are still undecided between traveling to Montreal Vs. London for our 2024 fall break family vacation. I like Montreal culture, building, and things to do with 3 boys a lot so far! Thank you again.

      We leave this Sunday! Looking for things to do, but we’re going to see the eclipse! Will likely visit Parc Jean-Drapeau to see it on the Monday!

      @@GoExploreMatt it was wonderful! We watched the eclipse at Mont Royal park and ate at a wonderful restaurant called Darlings! We also rode the metro a lot, saw the cathedral and visited Musee McCord Stewart! Our favorite thing was going to Cafe Chat Heureux near Duluth!

      Those houses we're across the street from Parc Jeanne-Mance

      It really depends on what style you want, if you go to the Plateau, you will have one style of old architecture, Outremont has another style, then Westmount has a lot of huge old houses, NDG is another great place and Monkland Street has good restaurants. Walking the streets going up to Mont-Royal you will see some of the GOLDEN square miles mansions, McGill University campus downtown is great as well, Montreal is great to walk around and explore, each neighbourhood is different. if you love food, Montreal has it all, The bakeries are amazing, small cafes, but also great restaurants to explore, try to go out of the standard tourist places, in Little Burgundy you will have amazing discoveries, there are so many blogs about food in Montreal, take a look, even a small snack at Marché Atwater for lunch can be great, if you love exercise biking along the Lachine Canal all the way to Lachine is nice, more action the white water excursion on the st-Lawrence at Saute mouton.

    The city is dead…. Nobody around. No life no action, totally depressing

      In the summer it is way more lively, this video was shot the first week of January when it was -15 outside

    • @acarriere8534
      @acarriere8534 4 месяца назад

      as soon as the weather hits ZERO Celsius everyone is outside, we have 300 festivals per year, so when you say the city is dead it depends on when he went and HOW HE FILMED it because people walk a lot in Montreal, so it is very peculiar that he found a time when there was nobody, maybe it was a holiday and everyone was up North or in the eastern township for that day. I live on a small Island off the main Montreal Island, it is a suburb and there are always a lot of people walking on the street, whereas in most North American cities, there would be no one, so your point is just very stupid and narrow-minded.
