This kit was a lot of fun to build and looks amazing!
This was from Amazon:

Thanks you lovely people, and keep on tinkering! Наука
That was fun to watch! You must be great at parties. Love your personality!
Thank you for your kind comments. To be fair, everyone is happy assembling an electronics kit!
I bought one of these after watching this video and have just finished building it. I was able to finish this build without any major issue.
Thanks to Backofficeshow for the helpful guide! Helped me out big time.
That's wonderful! They are pretty awesome, it's a fun kit
The word "Triode" was used by the inventor of the vacuum tube triode and is from a Greek word that means "3 ways", or a junction where three roads meet. Therefore technically a transistor is a triode since it it a junction where 3 currents meet (at least as much as a semiconductor diode that inherited its name from the vacuum tube equivalent) although historically the English speaking world doesn't really use the word that way. I imagine its a Chinese-English translation thing, but it does seem rather quaint. Its a bit like the way a lot of Chinese kits refer to 7 segment displays as "tubes".
I built one of these kits a few weeks ago, its very bright but does burn through the batteries a bit, so I power mine from a USB charger these days!
That's very interesting, makes sense
nice video, and merry Christmas
Thank you, wishing you the same! 🎄
Do you have a link to the STL of that resistor pin bender?

I just had a scare doing the leds . After checking the led worked , it stopped working once soldered in . I thought I bent them too hard or the heat of soldering . Realized it didn't test positive once soldered into the circuit ...
Phew!
haha this was pretty awesome to watch, Merry Christmas!
Thank you so much! It's a good way to start the holiday season. I kinda wish I bought several to gift!
@@backofficeshow Ooooh! That would have been a cool gift! I guess there is always next year. :D
Next year I will design my own for sure!
'nice kit
Thank you!
I’ve got it all working except my top light. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
The top light also has positive and negative position.
what is the name of tool used to make the wires on the resistors bend ? Thank you
I 3D printed it, but you can buy similar:

Great video. LEDs 7-12 don't light up on card A. Any ideas what I did wrong?
I would suggest double checking the polarity of those particular LEDs
That did it, I had one LED with the polarity reversed. Thanks!
Christmas saved 😂
Could you share the manual instruction link?
Sorry, I only had the paper version that came with it, and it's disposed of now
Weird issue on mine, they all light up, but very dim....any idea what could be wrong?
Could be a short somewhere, I can't really recall the circuit, but you could possibly have a resistor where a capacitor should be
providing you use non conductive adhesive flock ought to work
I quite like the idea of iron filling flock, that would be interesting!
just finished mine, but In one of the PCBs three LEDs in each side won't light.. what could it be? Thanks
Could it be related to their polarity? Perhaps you can remove one of the LEDs and reverse it
@@backofficeshow the ones not working are in the exact same positions in both ends, much of a coincidence... but thanks!
Maybe chuck for a common termination for those, like at an IC or resistor
hi, as they say, if all else fails, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!
NEVERRRRRRRRRRR
Bah Humbug!! JK merry fudging xmas!
You love it really!
@@backofficeshow btw the link for the UK amazon is for the other version with the non rgb leds.
On no, I didn't realise that. I will correct
@@backofficeshow ordered one, might slow down the twinkling a bit.
Will be interesting to see how you achieve that
Mine didnt dinky dinky dink 😢
You need to check it over once more, you still have time before Christmas!
