Enjoyable video. Most musicians never make it this far. Played clubs and special events for years. One time for a living back when there were local gigs five nights or more a week. Still perform in my 70's when they come up. Unfortunately the demand for live music is just a shadow of what it once was.
I was a 12 year old when The British Invasion of America occurred in 1964. Most Liverpool Groups were successful here in The States with the exception of The Merseybeats. Difficult to explain because their music is very good. We knew they existed we just didn't hear them. The record companies back in those days on both sides of the pond did all of us some injustices I believe. They always seemed to think they knew what was best for everyone.
@@peteroberts4033 hi Pete, yes I did watch it, yes you Poms ❤️ beat us, but I still think it was great our girls got to the semi finals of the World Cup, all of Australia were behind the girls, I even wore green and gold to our charity ten pin bowling this evening, that’s where we watched the game, CONGRATULATIONS to England 🏴
@@Lynny1651 You are very generous Lynette ...it was a great game ..and you came close to a few goals. I prefer watching the girls play ..they seem more enthusiastic .
Great video! IT is interesting to note that The Beatles covered, "Hippy Hippy Shake" , "Some Other Guy Now", and "Hello Little Girl" was a Lennon McCartney original as was "Bad To Me". And, The Beatles before they were Beatles. There is a lot of connections between the groups here, Cilia Black and The Beatles. I was a young pre- teen and teenager when the Mersey beat was a thing. I recall most of these songs well. What great days!
Great groups seftons hideaways calderstones Tom. Evan's then joined badfinger and him and Pete wrote that song living is without you RIP Tom Pete and Mike viv minshall
@@peteroberts4033 Australia has really been about Aussie Rules footy and I was bought up with females, having 5 sisters so I was never into that game either, I was always a netball player, yes I must agree England 🏴 were brilliant, I hope they win the women’s World Cup 🏴
@@peteroberts4033 Pete going back to your music selection, the English did produce some excellent bands in the 60’s when I was a teenager, although I was very conservative
Wonderful music from my mis-spent youth 😂 Wondering what happened to my beautiful lass from 'way back when ...? Shouldn't have let her get away 🥴 More fool, me 🥺

Ringo originally played with Rory Storm .
Cilla Black. Her real name was Cilla White.
Actually it was Pricilla White
And the Hurricanes
You left out the "Chants" and "Freddie Starr and the Midnighters" "The Undertakers to name but a few !!!
Make your own video then ..simple !!
