OKC won the trade
And it wasn't even close
Seriously, even back then if getting SGA didn’t work out most people figured it was best to rebuild with a million picks and not rely on two guys who really weren’t gonna win anything. I liked the PG Westbrook duo but it was not beating golden state
Okc need to get to the conference finals at least clippers made a conference finals. Okc would win this trade if they win a title
@@Lolcryariver nah George Paul has been sidelined for injuries for probably half of every season since he's been traded. Okc got draft picks, and a player who was in mvp talks, led the league in steals, and is young and healthy.
The Jalen Williams draft pick was Clippers'. SGA and Jalen still could've potentially been teammates 🤦.
In case no one knew, the Cam Whitmore pick was originally the Clippers. It just gets worse and worse

I’m still subscriber I’ma still watch your videos but certain videos like this is like come on bro
Remember all that bullcrap in interviews about him being "playoff p"? All he does is shrink in the playoffs despite being on some insanely good teams. He's not a max contract player.
I’m starting to think that Paul George is overrated. Dude is a playoff dropper. Whatever team gets him won’t win anything
Big facts
Agreed. I honestly think he has been riding on his pre-2019 career. Post whatever numbers you want, but he is playing with Kawhi and they can't get anything done.
Agreed. And he’s only getting older
34 averaging 22 a game making $50m is nuts. Crazy overrated
@@gooseallie4417 The thing is most above avg guys can get buckets but what separate the greats from the avg is getting the buckets when they really matter… to win a close game or making a crucial bucket consistently . Tbh these NBA players are getting corny. The league has changed for the worst to me. There’s not a lot of guys worth watching hoop.
Not an Orlando magic fan but it was reported that Paul George is meeting with them and they are a young add up-and-coming team so I think the media might be sleeping on them a little
Right
NBA players are just something else asks for more then you are worth if you get it the rest of the team suffers then they bitch that they have no help or they ruin a team’s future then when they don’t win they want out of the team they destroyed like KD lol
IMO Orlando is a much better situation than the Clippers, in terms of winning as well. Much easier path in the East
many teams are a better situation than clippers tho
Why do I feel like the hawks gonna try and snag him, they traded Murray for legit garbage. Maybe they salary dumping to sign Paul George. Just a thought.
@@martymcflywilliams9050signs indicate that the Hawks are rebuilding. They is a chance they could move off Trae between now and the deadline.
@@martymcflywilliams9050I doubt it. That team doesn’t have an ounce of championship experience and only got younger. More than likely they trade Trae for a big haul to completely rebuild. Adding PG to that team maybe gets them an extra 5-6 wins, not a team competing for a championship.
@@tominator028u crazy u definitely don't watch basketball Orlando would be the smartest choice he would have a graceful decline similar to tim Duncan just Orlando has a top 3 defense and two raising stars in Paolo and Franz they just need more fire power on offense to be contenders and that what PG will bring
Clippers finally showing a backbone and not making bad decisions to cripple their future any further while still not winning
I still think losing him for nothing is an L. I'd rather they s&t him to at least get some quality players so they can at least compete cause they can still have a big 3 of kawhi, Harden and westbrook
Bro really refused $50 million 💀.. man I would do anything to even get 1% of that
This man really said I'm sucking it.
He's trying to get more years which is equal to more money bud
Seems like he’s a dumbass when you put it that way but he’s trying sign like a 4 year 200 million dollar deal so it’s smart on his part 100%
But?
he will get more money by refusing 50mil , money glitch
We all knew he was declining his option. It’s less common for players to accept their player option…

They do when they have an ass season.
If he takes a pay cut and goes back to the Pacers to chase a ring I will nut (Ik this is probably most definitely not going to happen, but as a huge PG24 fan let me dream)
That would be smart but he doesn’t care about winning he only wants money if he cared about winning a chip he would take a pay cut to go back to LA or to the 76ers or the Magic or OKC or like you said Indiana
@@sadmarinersfan8935The thing is I think he can get a good contract and get on a championship level team. Warriors who aren’t resigning Klay and Orlando can both offer him very lucrative deals and be very competitive next season.

It would be interesting to see him with this Pacers team. They proved they're good enough now to be a threat to win it all. Adding a scorer like him in this system would be nuts.
It'll happen
OkC ....does NOT want PG or KD.
They do, just not on super max contract

He wants his 200M for 4 years based on his prime years
clippers should call his bluff, dudes from cali and gets to live at home ... hes got it good and hasnt done anything worthy of the contract other than the name
Philly is dumb enough to supermax.
He is not a fcking max player let him go. What a waste of money to begin with
I thought his sweatshirt said cocaine 😂

He’s a nets fan so he going to need it for next season
He lives what he raps
If the clippers max him out it will be the biggest mistake they could make he isn’t worth $50m and at almost 40 paying him that would be idiotic. Smart move by the clippers
They already signed Leonard wich was their biggest goal and lets be honest with the new arena starting next season they want that place packed, let Harden and Westbrook walk and sign George

I feel like he is about to hit the decline portion of his career. He just doesn't seem into it anymore. He's a vet that has made a bunch of money and never really accomplished anything. Anyone giving him a 4 year supermax deal will be regretting it by the end of Year 2. Then, he's going to be a cap liability. Dude is already battling injury problems and he is barely in his 30's.
Bye bye Paul George. Get outta here. We don’t want you here anymore.
Earning or declining 48.7 million US dollars a year as a base salary is a lot of money 💰. That's approximately 49 million US dollars in a year. These Basketball 🏀 players also still earns seperate annual revenue from endorsements, commercials, etc. Peace ✌️🕊️.
Well, Why would a team sign Paul George? Hasn't he a history of playoff choking hardcore? Or am I in the wrong?
Also, why would the Sixers gives a single fck about their superbaby? He will go 30/11 in the season for sure, only to get hurt, cries he doens't get mvp, be a drama boii about being horrible in the playoffs, getting older, getting hurt more...trade Embiid...build around Maxey. Embiid has massive value, he will not win you a title. If you trade him, he probally will.
I would love him in Orlando. Not even a fan but the fit there would be soooo tough
You people must be smoking something if you really think Paul George has the leadership skills to win a championship..better wake TF up
He is a great player but asking for asking for a 4 year max contract when you are 34 years old and havent do a thing in the post season is crazy. No as crazy as Klay but still.
Giving Klay 40 a year is insane!!! That’s what OG Anunoby just got no way somebody pays Klay that money
That's unrealistic.
Probably 40 million over 2 years (20 mill p/yr). That's still decent for Klay, considering how far he's fallen
Coming to Orlando 🎉
Embiid, Maxey, George. Hell of an upgrade over Tobias Harris.
what are you talking about the sixers will 100% be offering him the absolute max
LOL Paul George is ONLY meeting with teams that can pay him $50M+ annually and it just shows he don't care AT ALL about getting a ring. At least meet with OKC dawg 😭 They can pay you $30M AND give you a ring. He's not even worth the $48M his player option was worth.

@@novellprice132 30m*4=120, Clippers offered him the same deal as to Kawhi: 152m/3 years. And he could probably get another 5m-ish deal in the 4th year. Thats a lot of money to leave on the table. Orlando
I thought he liked being "home".
Detroit can also afford him, I think. I know, I know but for the sake of completeness, the Pistons can also afford him. I've actually read in articles that Philly and Detroit are the only two teams that can afford him (if he wants the max amount he can get). But I won't doubt you about the other teams, those articles might've been written by an AI for all I know.
As a Philly fan I really hope we don’t sign him. Don’t need him.
PG isn’t the old PG. He’s often injured, & while still a great player his game has diminished.
PG is washed
Not washed. Still an all star. He just lost a little bit with age. PG13 is still a top 30 player in the league.
That foos mis at best. Has never shown anything when it actually mattered

LET THE GAMES BEGIN
Orlando Magic
Whichever team gets him will be doomed
PG13 is just turned 34 in May. Giving him 4-year max money is bad investment. Bets options. 1. Staying in LAC with pay cut, like decreasing contract. 2. PHI because they are in win-now mode.
Why not the Lakers, Paul?
Lebron would need to sign a minimum contract for that.
Philly is the "obvious" option, but Wemby as a teammate must sound nice, and Orlando has a really good young group that he could pay bet well next to. Does he really want to go to Philly and play where yet again injury is a concern?
Injury is a concern no matter where he goes why would Philly be any different than la or Orlando??
Philly does the same thing every year, no matter who they try to pair with Embid. It really doesn’t matter if the man can’t stay healthy, especially in the playoffs. Realistically, Orlando is a very hot, up and coming team. I wouldn’t be surprised if PG signed there. Orlando has the money for it and the roster support. Clips are like the sixers but in the west, they can’t do anything in the playoffs without Kawhi. History speaks for itself.
If im the clippers im at least gonna entertain a S&T. Resigning PG until hes old af for 50/yr is laughable. At least get back something. But its looking more like hes just gonna sign straight up for another team, leaving the clips in the dust.

Actually it is not smart move - the Clippers gave away 5 first round picks (4 of them unprotected), 2 pick swaps, a sallary filler in Danilo Gallinari and a prospect by the name of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to OKC just to pair PG with Kawhi and will lose him for next to nothing. The Clippers should've at least recouped some of the lost assets by traiding PG for a 1-2 FRP at best. Now, they'll slid back to mediocrity, while SGA continues to thrive with the Thunder.

The Clippers. You are mega-f***ed. No draft picks, an aging Kawhi, no Paul George, still second banana to the Lakers, and a massive stadium in which you'll have next to nothing to showcase. This is a case of forgetting who you are. You had one chance to be a real franchise with an actual vision, when you traded away Blake Griffin, and were able to start over. You chose a supercharged version of your previous era that didn't get anywhere past the second round. Are you truly surprised with the results?
Edit: After Paul George signed with the Sixers: Yeah, pack it in. You have no hope for the foreseeable future unless you completely blow it up. I understand why you don't want to do that, because you had around 40 years of futility as a franchise before Chris Paul arrived, and that alone gives you PTSD.
