They kinda have a similar sounding situation with Anna Faris and Chris Pratt. Both sets of actors who got married, had one kid, the husband's career blew up, probably millions of dollars now in his bank account, always away from home filming big budget movies, wife is left at home with the kid, they soon have separate lifestyles, and soon husband is distant and wife realizes she can do better. Both still love each other dearly but both realize love is never enough. You have to move together and grow together. Both issues similar joint statements, and both speak of each other fondly thereafter.

Prior to the divorce, Anna admitted that they would compete against one another for attention at gatherings to see who was the funniest. It sounded unhealthy from beginning to end.
Better? Pretty sure the men in both situations you've described are wildly successful people that are considered desirable by numerous females. Unless, you mean better relationship/ one where the man is around. Which, then I guess I agree with. Also, fixer upper? They don't owe their success to these women. They did it themselves.

As an only child to two people who have separated twice then divorced...got back together..remarried 5 years later...separated again and almost divorced before trying yet again...and still harbor many negative feelings towards each other but keep on trying. I had a hard time as a child, and I'm an only child...so I got lonely throughout these times. But it was even harder dealing with their relationship struggles in my adulthood. Sometimes love just isnt enough solely for a successful lifelong marriage. And its not always a blessing for them to stay together and for a child to watch constant struggles. I respect that this couple is doing what's best for themselves bc there may be a happier life for them both to come. Misery is not what you wanna teach your kid to keep a hold of if there's no solutions left to to fix their marriage...sometimes people grow into being incompatible. My parents married at 21...your brain isn't even finished developing yet...the part that recognizes consequence is still lacking til then...and prob why this happens to many in their choice of a partner. Its been sad to watch and they both suffer with their health now. So they do the best they can but aren't really happy still.

Divorce can be a better solution than making a child grow up in repressive, tense, and stressful environment as that can cause them to have problems later in life. Let's not forget situations with domestic abuse. Clearly you've had a bad experience, and i'm sorry for that, but understand every case is different.

It's extremely sad when anyone splits up especially if they have children together, but obviously the distance, the work, etc etc is only an excuse. Some people live in separate countries and their love lasts until they can be together. Their commitment wasn't strong enough to hold the marriage together, but at the end of the day it's their life so they choose their destiny.

All I can say is that if you really want to make your marriage work, you will make it work because it’s easy to leave but it’s hard to make it work, if you love someone that much you will stay together no matter what, I think either he cheated or she cheated and they’re just trying to not bring up the fact that someone cheated for the sake of their child. So sad because they’re both going to get old pretty fast and then they’re going to end up with someone that may not make them happy as happy as they were when they were together.
