It’s a shame that’s all they have is the hfp kit... not much other exterior mods. Unless you do some extensive research and find some other mods. But still a good looking car overall. (No contradiction)
Very nice man ive got a 12 civic si with rbc swap but its a stock port manifold and running stock 9th gen throttle body. I went with the ktuned adapter coolant bypass for my swap. The car is a night and day difference especially in the top with the rbc. Really woke it up

K&N typhoon Intake Full race 3" Catted DP Invidia Q300 exhaust Flashpro - VitTuned Hasport 62A Rear Motor Mount 93 oct tune 206whp 173tq So looks like the RBC losses a bit of TQ but gains a more respectable top end. Doubt youll notice a -5tq but def trying to push 220whp. I think ill save up some and swap out my KNN for PRL and go RBC swap. The Vtec crossover sounds amazing.
Im running rbc on mine and at 2.7k rpm i get a dip in torque but by 3k it picks right back up. torque actually carried better at redline too. By redline i was making around 10wtq more compared to the stock manifold and this was on the same dyno, sane tuner and similar conditions when i tuned on the stock manifold and hp carries to redline where before id peak at 7000 and then fell off from there to 7500 but now at 7500 its still making power.
My stock j30a4 makes about that, so that's pretty sweet. 2 less cylinders and same power as a v6 honda. Most people who are number queens will hate on your 252 but that's from a 190hp engine, you made 25% increase on a n/a engine, that's cool...and probably super reliable.
@@frankkirkman5994 everyone can have a laugh at it , i enjoy it to the fullest and it's indeed a very reliable car & engine ... i dont go for top dyno numbers, it's not a dragracing car, peak hp means nothing.. i go for the smoothest, most usable powerband possible... those N/A 300 whp peak cars are not daily drivable and have 0 power under vtec, mine has power all over the rev range. On the dyno it made 274 hp / 268Nm Figure a 8-9 % drivetrain loss should be around 252 Whp... Love the J series engine also! Is yours stock or tuned ? Enjoy it bud

It's kind of just a winter car and I want to keep it stock, not like there is much you can do to a j series unless you build the parts yourself. I do have a 2003 350z with more or less full bolt ons and a 2012 audi s5 that's also very stock. Maybe one day if the Honda blows up I'll do somthing cool but for now it's just a winter daily.

I think I was on a low reading dyno. I got the invidia n1 3 inch, full race catted dp, acuity air intake and it said I made 195 to the wheels. That can't be right can it?
My 13 Si only has a 3 inch cat back exhaust and feels like I’m making 190 to the wheels with no tune never dynoed I just recently got a cold air intake for it but haven’t installed it yet I’m looking for 220 whp once I get flash pro and get some header for it but I can’t seem to find any header for it yet would a k24a2 header fit ?

MrJayjay0420 getting an intake and downpipe as first is not bad since you'll need it anyway if you wanna run this kind of setup. What is not fine is getting an rbc and going s/c is an example of not fine because you'll end up selling the rbc anyway.

Why am I only hitting 213? I got basically the same setup besides the 3” catback and a j37 Tb instead. I got a 2.75” catback. Does a 1/4 of an inch really make a difference in hp?
I dont have a perfect answer for you but the easiest thing to do is you can use the ones listed in Kmanager, you just need to convert ms to us - You do this by multiplying by 1000 - Example @ 14v 0.87ms * 1000 = 870us
There are too many variables to guess hp - But if you wanted to run e85 you would need to upgrade the injectors. the stock injectors are basically maxed out on pump
8th gen and 9th gen Ks are very different engines - The 9th gen K24Z7 has the single exhaust port and no VTEC on the exhaust cam - These are really good numbers for one of these engines on my dyno

It would be a good idea to disconnect the Flashpro before you disconnect the battery. The tune on the ecu won’t be effected by disconnecting the battery.

You need an adapter plate such as the PRL adapter plate to bolt on the RBC to this engine

None - It worked great. Its a super nice piece, i would definitely choose it over a ZDX

RBC is the intake manifold from the 8th gen SI.
Stock power is 205HP correct? So multiple thousands for 16HP? I'm sure it sounds nicer and is more fun to drive but daaamn that's not cheap.
The 205 hp rating is at the crank. These dyno results are at the wheels. These cars only put down about 180 wheels HP when stock.

Personally i think going turbo is the most cost effective performance gain - A good turbo kit on these cars gets you to 400 Wheel HP
