Her TV show was just so funny. I did not watch it when it aired but now am watching every night on a memory TV. Fran is such an attractive comedian. Of course her voice adds to it as well.
Yes, it was a boy's father coming by to pick up a bird that he didn't want at first so he gave it to Max. I can't really remember how it was obtained at that time. Max told the man in the steam room abd the guy old the press becauze Max told everyone about the man's girlfriend-whom I assume that guy was cheating with, but not 100% sure.

@@InsaneNuYawka I don't think it detracted from the show. It could just be that she clicked with Val in HS and she just happened to be Italian American. According to IMDB, Val was named after her cousin Erica Toriello, so maybe she had Italians in the family. The Jewish culture is still strongly present in the show regardless with Fran's family and extended relatives.
