Krystina Ferro DC purposely changed it because of marvels cinematic universe. In the Comics Wonder Woman fought In WW2 not WW1
Kinda like when you realize that Superman has James Olsen, Batman has James Gordon, Iron Man has James Rhodes and Captain America has James Barnes.
Their best friends are all named James.
The WW1 thing was probably because Steve Trevor in the comic books was a WW2 fighter pilot for an invisible jet. But because we already have a WW2 superhero, who also named Steve, the creators change the origin story.
This is like when Flynn Ryder from Tangled was always upset because his nose was never well drawn in the Most Wanted posters haha what an agony this must be... AGONYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, FAR MORE PAINFUL THAN YOURS!!

He actually looks more like James Marsden than the other Chrises, but all four Chrises are headlining their own movie franchises. Out of all the Chrises, Pine was actually the first to have his own franchise back in 2009 with Star Trek. Evans and Hemsworth didn't join Marvel until 2011.
I always mistake those two. (Marsden and Pine)
That just reminds me that Chris Hemsworth is Cap'n Kirk's dad... lol. No wonder they're so similar. ;)

what is so funny is personality wise they are sooooo different. i never mix them up because they are unique despite their visual similarities.
Ashton LeBleu It helps that they also have very different voices as well. Pine and Pratt probably have the most similar voices, but they also look the least alike.
Even if their personalities weren't different or if I weren't familiar with their work, I wouldn't mix them up. I don't think they look alike at all!
Ever seen Pratt & Evans photobombing with Jimmy Fallon? Boys bein' boys. They all have warped senses of humor, which is great!

@@MontyPythonFanatic2 I don't know. There's a lot of subtle American regional differences between Pine and Pratt's voices. Pine has a very cut and dry neutral Californian accent while you can hear the hints of the South in Pratt's voice.

Well, Chris Hemsworth did play Chris Pine's father in the first Star Trek though, so I could see the confusion there, and in some way they do kind of look a like, lol.
Also, two Chrises (how do you even make a plural of that name? never mind...) playing two comic book characters, both soldier and both called Steve? Yeah, that's not going to confuse people at all. :D
Not to mention Zoe Saldana accompanying both Chris Pratt and Chris Pine on a Spaceship across the galaxy to stop Romulans and/or Kree with the help of a person with poor english dialect in Chekov or Groot who also have a wise tech know it all in Scotty or Rocket but also with a person of superior physical attributes in Spock or Drax.
So it really is easy to decifer inbetween the Chris's
