Actually those handles with the levers are recommended for elderly people, so changing them out was a good idea. When people get old their grip is not very good and lots of elderly also have arthritis in the hands. These lever handles are ADA Standards recommended for faucets. They also recommend changing door handles to lever type instead of knob type. Thanks for the video, Steve.

I remember this now… she was complaining about the sink drain having no vent in a video a long time ago. She’s good for 97!
my grandmother lived in an old house with coal stove in basement and in kitchen as its only heat source. she went downstairs to basement filled a huge bucket every morning at dawn and started up both stoves to heat house and hot water was just a cast iron fist in chimney so you might get 190-degree water she lived there at 89 taking care of the place.

Gerber is good stuff. She is better off with that faucet since its still working to her satisfaction. 97 years old is amazing and she is walking on her own. I'd be giving her a senior discount.
If anyone is curious, I think someone put the wrong cartridge in the starboard side or cold faucet. They have 2 hot valve cartridges installed in the faucet. I'm no plumber, but I've changed them before when they drip. You really have to pay attention to get the right one.

I have that faucet but with metal handles...I don't like those cheap acrylic handles...reminds me of a 80s single wide trailer!

35-40 dollar faucet, just change it out IMHO older folks are always worried about cost understandably, but so many older people are penny wise dollar foolish, these people's kids are useless I changed my folks bathroom and kitchen faucets rebuilt the guts on the toilet over the years changed shut off valves and replaced their hot water heater and I'm no plumber
