Well for the rose of Jericho they're gonna for half a year to a full year have to keep it somewhere dry after a few days so that it stays alive, they could also if they only bought it themselves for the video then dry it and give it as a gift for someone else, since gifted roses of Jericho being good luck (at least that's what my mother always told me)
I work on resurrection plants and we like to produce some time lapses of their dehydration and rehydration. Your footage of the Rose of Jericho is stunning! Well done.
The last one , grass, shows why certain plants are so important for nature. All those tiny roots are a part of what make soil and dirt stable and prevent landslides and allow small animals to be able to dig into the earth without the dirt collapsing on them.
Honestly they didn't have to put the rose of Jericho there at all- A bowl with cold or hot water (depending on how fast you want it to grow) is more than enough, and it only takes a few hours to grow like that then as well Plus like that you afterwards don't have to deal with where to put the plant to let it dry again, which is extremely important for the rose of Jericho If anyone here ever gets gifted a rose of Jericho you should put it in a bowl and use hot water if you want to see it actually grow, it's really nice to look at On top of that after half a year to a full year (am not exactly sure rn) you can put it in a bowl with hot water again and see it grow again You get a bowl, put the rose of Jericho in it and then pour hot water over it, tho not too much because then the plant might get destroyed

When ur plants have slender stem and show strong intention of growing upward, these indicate the UV light is too weak for them. Moreover, u have to water thoroughly to the soil at the base of the planting plot. Healthier plants look happier.
I have some questions, do you use artificial light? If you do do this also work on natural sunlight, I've been eanting to plant some stuff for a while and your videos are very helpful, i just eanna ask this question because im curious
Since nobody answered, yes it works just as well with sunlight. Even better. But keep in mind that if you plant them outside, your plants won't grow in a straight upwards way because of the wind

another name for it is Rose Of Resurrection

There’s also a plant named the Death Lily so I guess the rose of resurrection has a competitor

The real fun part is when you realise for plants time passes extremely fast and this timelapse shows you how they perceive it
The grass is an example as to why it's so important to prevent soil erosion.

How are those plants now?
Fascinating! We need a yard stick or something beside these so we can see how tall they are 😁
I reckon it'd be nice to see a size reference on the wall enclosure(such as a measure or even any common household product)
What do you do with the plants once you’ve finished the timelapse? Just curious.
I’m also curious so I’m replying so I can get a notification if they respond
Probably that they eat them, give them to someone or the worse thing to do, throw them away.
