I’m so surprised you didn’t mention the part that happens after you beat a level, where you can watch a recording of yourself beating the level in real time. That’s probably the most satisfying part of the game in my opinion.

I'm surprised that he did not mention the fact that each section of the level in superhot v.r. happens in the same building just in a different place in that building and you can even throw a gun to yourself if you know where you are going to be next wich makes me feel super badass

@@goldencookie6317 that's why I'm not playing FPS games. They're fun, but my internet is so trash that I can't even move without teleporting around the map and being rewarded with death screen every 10 seconds

yeah but then they removed all the cool scenes where self harm is present, completely removing any story from the game
and also i don't like how the story and maps are different than vanilla superhot, i bought the game with the intention of playing a port to vr, not a game made from scratch with different gameplay elements

SUPERHOT is one of those games that actually makes me think about how you deal with enemies, what cover I need to pick to avoid damage, and what target I should better pick

I played it in VR and i remember bending as far back as i could trying not to die
That's why the main power is to do exactly what The Matrix is known for

He didn’t explain the full mechanics of mind control delete though. One of which is that it has an actual turn based shooter version of the original game inside of it or that if you 100% the game it stops you from playing it anymore.

Yes, Polish is already using the Latin alphabet, but in a very different way to English. Which really confounds English native speakers, unaware that 'w' might not be a 'double u' in other languages.

I remember playing Superhot VR for the first time ever and thinking it was amazing. I’ve recently got my own copy of the game, and have been playing the game ever since and it’s one of the best games I’ve played.

SuperHot is truly one of the most shooters of all time
Another good part of mind control delete is that there are new enemies that have their own abilities. Some of which can just ignore the "time only moves when you move" rule. It adds a whole new layer to the gameplay that you need to think about. I'd think that it's the best game aside from the repetitive maps. If you don't care about that then the gameplay is definitely a step up from the original. If you have a vr there's no question which is best though.

So a little sidebar about superhot vr, they got rid of all the shooting yourself and jumping from a balcony parts in the treasure Hunter update
I've actually played it MANY TIMES i always spending my time on that stupid frikin great game. The mechanics are different than other fps games.
And you know. The fun on there are really different than other game I've played.

I also remember that this actually was one of the world’s most trending games before the first FNAF game was released! That was back in 2012-2014 when the game was in Alpha/Beta! Also the first demo was actually released in late 2012! :)

I didn't even watch the video yet, but I agree so much. I bought superhot like 3 weeks ago, because I never played it or seen anyone play it. And it is one of the most unique experiences in FPS games I ever had.
The one thing that keeps me going is the plot, I dont know about others but for me the plot is interesting, and I am always motivated to beat levels just so I can get a bit more of it.
The levels are hard, the visuals are good, concept and feedback is amazing.
One thing worth mentioning that I really love and hate is the paranoia I have when playing it.
Since you don't exactly hear from where the enemies spawn it's hard to dodge them if you don't expect them to be, for example, behind you. Combine that with the fact that you need to beat an already hard portion of the level, and you have a pretty paranoid atmosphere. It's fine tho.
I also really like the fact that once you restarted the level a multitude of times you can just start speedrunning it, because you would know where enemies are at.
Overall, 10/10 one of the most unique shooter experiences you can have.
I've got the first one from the PS Plus this month. Loved it. Really, it is awesome and it really deserves "the most innovative shooter ever made" label.

My uncle introduced me to this years ago. 2 years before I even saw matpat's video about superhot lore but then I forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me of this masterpiece of a game! Now I'm gonna re download it

I love the fact that the actual developers of the original game made an 8 bit version for the Pico-8 Fantasy Console (i think that's the name) called Pico Hot

i played this game a little bit on xbox but played it a lot more in the vr version. the vr version was kinda disappointing tho because you couldnt move and there was no realtime replay at the end of each level which is what i found was the coolest part of superhot

I love this game, first saw a bunch of videos a few years ago, then finally played it in VR for the first time. Spent about 3 hours straight trying to 100% and beat the times for the speedrun achievements. Only weird part about playing in VR is that you can just hide *IN* objects, usually a barrel or a desk or something, but I only did this if the level was too difficult. Very fun game, try BOTH versions, not just VR and not just PC (The PC game is about merging with the CORE, and the VR game is about DESTROYING the core, which has now turned black, which I assume means that this is the core the PC game player has merged with.)
But why would the player kill itself in real life over a game?

I only got to play this game once years ago. It was epic.
My cousin was failing multiple times, yet I failed not once because I was paying close attention to every movement.
Superhot is the perfect example where if you take a top-tier warzone player and throw them into it they probably won't beat it on their first try with zero deaths like they like the first five levels they probably won't beat them with zero deaths that's why I like super hot
