    Reasons I love this channel:
    1. Purdy cars
    2. Fresh beats
    3. A motivational message that isn't selling a brand but urging us to use it as a model for what we envision

      @kiki the gerbil All paint does initially but color sanding after is what really gives you that deep mirror finish

    I got quoted over $10k to restore my 1995 Mitsubishi Evo 3, cutting the small rust panels out and repainting everything back to a nice factory look. But then i watched over 40hr of your videos in the last 2 weeks or so and took so many notes, like i was back in collage again, and here in about 2 months im going to start the restore myself. My neighbor is going to cut the rust out and weld new metal to the car and im going to go through and seal everything up and get it ready for paint in my garage. I cant wait!! thank you for amazing instructional videos, this is saving me over $9000!!

    Blimey, never thought boring old NFR could look so nice and shiny ;) Great work! The only thing that would OCD me was the windscreen surround not getting new paint from what I saw? I do like the black quarter panels on the hardtop - Honda missed a trick not doing something more elegant in that respect. Gives me future inspiration for my Berlina Black which is two different shades thanks to a 'Honda approved' body shop not quite paying as much attention to detail as you guys! The owner looks very pleased :)

    Question: why paint all the small parts separately? Seems like a lot of gun cleaning. Why not set up the parts when the car is in the booth and spray all at once?

    • @PaintSociety
      @PaintSociety  4 года назад +2

      Cleaning edges. Cleaner jobs. Less parts. Less dust. Nicer finish this way. Can get around to all the edges and grins properly with everything off. Less overspray

    • @ihearttheconstitution3717
      @ihearttheconstitution3717 4 года назад

      Ok I think you misunderstood. I understand why the parts would be removed. I'm just wondering why you didn't paint them in the booth at the same time that you painted the body.
      The way to did it, you had to clean the guns multiple times.. seems like it would be faster and easier to shoot all the primer all at once, then all the base, then all the clear.
