He was really nervous about this viewing. He knows the whole story, but he also knows that tons of people really hate the Prequels. I'm not a big fan either, but I'd watch Jedi working at the port office if they used their lightsabers from time to time. His reaction to The Phantom Menace definitely enhanced my view of the movie. See what you think!

Truly wonderful, the mind of a child is.
I agree! Heck, I say anyone who feels like they need a shot of insulin should watch these. Or CinemaWins' Star Wars videos. Because liking things is more fun than not liking them.
Anduril74871 the statement is also from yoda
I agree
Another thing - he whistled perfectly in tune so he is also musically gifted.
“Not as good but still like it” I can agree with that.
Phantom menace is enjoyable but the story is weak but a lot of that is due to the timeline I think it’s not the clone wars it’s not the empire it’s not the old republic it’s not the galatic civil war it’s just s time of peace and politics so it’s hard to find in that interesting but podracing and darth maul were sick
I think TPM is the best out of the three. Clones is just straight boring and Sith has been meme the heck out, to a point where it is unenjoyable. TPM is great because it's fresh even if SOME characters are annoying (I am thinking about you) if George just would had stayed with Maul or a central villan, it would had done better Imo.
Miguel mora is sick of hearing about memes I’ve harksy seen any because I’m not a social media cretin who obsess over the internet I like watching films and tv shows and videos but I don’t spam my running commentary bullsht all over Twitter Facebook and Instagram I haven’t even got Instagram like all the sad fake fucks faking intimacy online. I respect your opinion but revenge is one of the beat they’ve done easily it’s action packed emotional and very dark and it’s better than phantom menacae which has the weakest story in any of the original 6 Star Wars films but I do like its originality it’s visuals the naboo ships the podracing and darth maul and it’s better than clones
That was a really sweet answer. And makes me think maybe my generation soured me against the prequels haha. When they came out, everyone hated them... now I notice a whole new generation of kids can enjoy them. Even though the criticism persists, they're certainly not unlikeable. Phantom Menace is very kid-friendly, and Darth Maul kicks ass. Attack of the Clones is probably the worst in terms of pacing, and Anikan and Padme... omg, like no chemistry whatsoever. Revenge of Sith is probably the best.
luckyDancer100 revenge is the best by far one of the best they’ve made
Anakin: "You can't kill a jedi."
Anakin 2 movies later: *Kills a whole temple of Jedi.*
I think that was the whole point of that line. Anakins story is a tragedy
It’s Anakin’s awe and later disappointment in a nutshell. He looked up to them. And in his eyes they betrayed him.
"Thank god no blood"
*remembers a new hope*
Fred 006 no blood wasn’t there a large splatter of blood when Darth Maul was cut in half
Raul Torres You could kind of see it when he gets stabbed but it’s at the bottom
Raul Torres There's a spray, but it cauterized the wound immediately so more blood loss. Which was most likely what helped in survive.
There wasnt blood either.
In a new hope there is blood because the species is like that of a spider a big tube of bloom instead of little veins. So when cut with a lightsaber the diameter of the vein were to far apart to be cauterized
If more adult fans could just be as carefree as your son, I think this fandom would be in better shape. You're doing a Jedi's work sir!
Carefree but also exempt from politics. Political agenda being pushed into the last movies is what caused such riffraff to spawn.
All of the Star Wars movies are political, even the original 1977 film. That was direct response to what was happening in Vietnam, plus it was about a rebellion overcoming an overbearing empire. The prequel trilogy directly mirrors a lot of what was happening in the Bush Jr era (false flag operations and lies from the govt creating a pretext to justify going to war, the decline of democracy, etc).
Star Wars has always had lefty politics and the prequels and sequels follow through with that. The riffraff are either too used to the old films to notice it or they're too stupid to realize.
KoolAidManOG exactly!
George Lucas even said in past interviews that the Empire was equivalent to Nazi Germany.
He even went as far as to call the ground soldiers “Stormtroopers” which were based on the “Storm-men” of WW1 Germany.
BTW they were also referred to as Stormtroopers as well.
If only, my friend. I still love the Phantom Menace and the original trilogy. Just look at the shit storm they have created now.
Well this kind of kids were specifically the target audience for this movie according to George Lucas back in the day
"Uh oh Dad, it's Palpatine."
This put a smile on my face.
I love that some of us can still enjoy these.
#sucka
THANOS!
a surprise to be sure but a welcome one
I'm pretty sure this kid looked up some scenes from the film already, he knew Jinn dies and Obi wan get's mad.
Silk Webber18 Dad said he knew of the films. Doesn't change anything.
Then that's your problem if you think that, if you knew what a genuine reaction was, maybe you'd know.
I like this kid. He looks Episode I like anyone should look to appreciate it: with child eyes.
He looks Episode 1? Uh ok...
Silk Webber18 It's a honest mistake. No need to be difficult
Yeah it was cool seeing the film through a child's eyes. And his reaction to the bad CGI. Lmao! It's certainly dated now and could use an updating. Hopefully Disney will get some special effects people in their to re-release these films, and maybe edit out some more JarJar lol.
I see it with adult eyes and LOVE it
luckyDancer100 why edit out jar jar he’s important to the plot
The perfect response for this movie "Not as good, but I still liked it." As someone who loves every aspect of Star Wars, I completely agree.
I actually like Phantom Menace more as I get older. It could use a good re-edit, and the CG needs to be cleaned up. Otherwise, its really not too bad.
Yeah that and it’s kinda boring at times and I wish we could get to know Qui-Gon and Kenobi better.
He needs to see the clone wars series
I know. I need to figure out a way to capture and edit it so it works for the channel.
@@HowToBeADad I know how to do it. Even though theres like 150 Clone Wars episodes, it really breaks down into about 47 Anthology stories (movies). So you could do the clone wars by story, seen as every 2-4 episodes forms its own self contained story, so when merged they each form their own movies. Keep an eye on twitter because i'm going to send you a chronological list, its the same as the official one but it also shows how the stories are grouped so you have a complete guide of how to break the episodes down and watch by story rather than by individual episode. It also includes the 2003 2D animated Clone Wars.
So you could if you wanted do Clone Wars before Revenge of the Sith, that way Anakins character falling to the darkside has more impact on your son than it would otherwise. Plus theres stuff like Order 66 expanded on. Would be interesting to see how much of what Palpatine is doing he can piece together before it all comes together in Revenge of the Sith ;P
This is amazingly helpful. Thanks so much. I need to dig into this and figure it out, beause I myself haven't seen Clone Wars. I had no idea they were presented in non-linear order the way they were released. My gut says that we'll probably need to finish II and III before embarking on such a long haul with the series. I see what you and other commenters are aiming for in suggesting that he see the series before RoS, but I don't think him seeing all the Prequels before the CW series will ruin the Prequels or CW. But you've given me a lot to think about. I'll dig into learning more and figuring out what's best. Once more, THANKS!
@@HowToBeADad no problem. The 2D shows final 4 chapters tell the opening crawl of Revenge of the Sith Rogue One style anyway, so it might make you want to rewatch it anyway XD i just know I got alot more out of Revenge of the Sith when I watched it again after Clone Wars because of all the extra Context and setting up. I made one of my friends watch it before first viewing of Revenge of the Sith as an experiment and she was heart broken because she absolutely loved Anakin. The first 2 seasons have some hits and misses, but from halfway through season 3 onwards the show is perfect for kids and adults alike. Whichever way you think is best though, you'll enjoy watching it together either way :)
Again any questions about the list or the show In general don't hesitate to ask XD
Thecrazygamer2 yes thats what i was about to say, season 1 and 2 have some problems but after season 3 it become greater, but I dont think it will cause problems to the kid
Dude, this kid is legit me growing up watching star wars. what a guy, lucky to have a dad like you! keep up the channel man!
The fun part is the fact that he is a kid and doesn't care that mutch about public opinion. So he loved it(in comparison not as good he said. But that's fair). The hate the prequels get it from the grown up kids who became adult and do listen to public opinion, or who don't see movies in the same way they saw them before. I'm kind off having the same issue with the new trilogy ATM. While the prequels are my favourites. Of course there is trashy stuff in there(like midi chlorians),there is weird stuff in all star wars movies. Modern star wars audiences can learn a lot from this kid.
gersyb97 Totally agreed. I recommend you watch his reaction to TFA, R1 and TLJ. I saw all three before him and enjoyed the experiences overall, but I enjoyed them even more after watching them with him. I know he’s my son, but other commenters have said the same. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Well, I personally think the clone wars Yoda arc from the lost episodes saved my view of midiclorians.
I haven't seen any of the the animated series, so it'll be all new to me as well as my son.
How To Be A Dad you should definitely watch them together with your son after the prequels and solo. The clone wars is what saved the prequels for many people who grew up with the originals
I would also suggest watching Genddy Tartakovski's _Clone Wars_ series (he was the guy who made Dexter's Laboratory and Symbionic Titan) - it's great and fits in perfectly between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
I'm glad he liked it. He's young enough to enjoy all of the movies so far. To see the good in all of them. So he'll be able to grow up with them all, and learn to love ALL of them for their own differences. The fact that he was able to make it through this one means that he's going to be just fine with the next 2, and even further on. Good job Dad!
This one is way better than clone sclones is very poor
I still have a soft spot for the Prequels as they were my proper introduction to Star Wars.
It works both ways from what I can tell 1-6(or 8) or the original release dates, or OT, sequels and then prequels like we wound up doing. Star Wars is just friggin amazing.
The only one of the original 6 I think is poor is clones it should’ve been way better but bad romance writing and chemistry lack of character development and screen time for some and no real action until the end it’s basxially like a the clones Wars is happening but this is the long talking build up to what should’ve been they actual movie but atleast. we got the clone wars series. Phantom is enjoyable but boring story the timeline isn’t the best it’s a time of peace and not a lot going on really
Yea me too.
My introduction was the sequels with force awakens one of the most hyped movies at the time
I’m gonna show my kids 4-6, then 1-3, then 7-9, then Rogue One and Solo.
I grew up in the 90's so it's very nice to see a kid laughing at Jar Jar like I once did.
The prequel had its flaws (Like every movie) but served my generation well. And for me, that's what Star Wars is all about.
Awesome! The politcal plot makes sense as you get older though
iAMurSNIPPER Yeah I just couldn’t ruin his first viewing with explanations, and he still loved it! Complexity can come later. :)
I’m 10 and kinda understand it
@@HowToBeADad I definitely get your son's reaction. I was the same way as a kid, I didn't understand the politics but I was never bored by it.
This series has been really fun to watch! Your son's way too young to be jaded, and it's cool to see how his more enthusiastic reactions compare to ours as adults. I was happy to see he enjoyed TLJ, and even though I'm not crazy on TPM, him laughing at some of the sillier jokes reminds me to not take these movies *too* seriously. Thanks for posting!
James Van Fleet Same. My boy is expanding the SW experience beyond what I ever could have expected or imagined.
Yeah seeing a kid enjoy the silly Jar Jar jokes really puts things in perspective.
Aww I really love this little guy, if only the Star Wars Community was like him the world would be a better place.
But we’ll see his reaction about episode 2. He may joined the Darkside after that haha
Haha! It would be a better world. An odd side bonus of making these videos is that my son's reactions seem to have a soothing and re-grounding effect on some people. Even me. Sure, I rolled my eyes in the video here and there, but I was totally taken with how invested he got in youngest Anakin.
How To Be A Dad yes it’s really great seeing him enjoying those movies! And watching him growing up is also very cool, my heart broke a little when he cried at the end of Return of the Jedi :(
I can't wait for Episode 3 reactions.
Julien Thomasic never fear!
There are some in the SW community just like him. And guess what they’re adults like me & you.
Just go watch some of the Comic-con or SW celebration stuff. It’s awesome!
The phantom menace is very underrated
DAVID M agreed, it has some of the better overall pacing, the politics so many people complain about aren't in the movie much, only 10-15 minutes total, but are important to establish the current galactic situations and show palpatine rise, as the prequels are as much his story as they are Anakin's. Plus all the cool new aliens and droids, seeing proper Jedi in their prime, pod racing, beautiful lightsaber fights with an amazing creative score (unfortunately the sequels just mostly reuse and rehash music from the first 6, you can feel the lack of Lucas guiding Williams score in the new ones)
true. I also approve of midichlorians as a way of explaining why only some people are force sensitive. i also think jar jar is funny.
Rey's Theme is great music though. Gives me Star Wars vibes.
DAVID M yeah same here, the midichlorians were never an issue with me since they were just part of how the force worked, I mean we've got a tens of thousands of years old galactic populace, it'd be pretty unbelievable if they hadn't figured out a LITTLE about the working of the force using research and science
Ashan Bhatoa reys was fine, it was one of the only good ones, like besides that and two others I can't recall a single piece from the new films
1:20 I love how you look to the camera when he talks about the effects haha
“Too much power can cause going to the Dark side,”
That applies to real life to kid.
I’m definitely taking notes from you if I ever have children, my man! Love your videos! And your son is awesome!

"It looked fake for a second... Like the land"
* Dad smiles at the camera like he just told a bad joke because, low and behold, it is CG. Just don't tell the Padawan that.
can't wait for episode 3. Aka the best movie
joethahobo overrated af
your opinion
Episode 3 and 7 are my faves
Episode III is my favorite Star Wars film don't @ me
Billy Cobb Episode 3 singlehandedly redeemed the Prequel Trilogy
It's amazing how the hated prequels are more appreciated after tfa and tlj. They still felt like star wars regardless of the story
I literally came into my house running because I received the notification this video was on. Ep 1 is one of my faves. I love how every kid EVER loves Maul. Can't wait for him to see Solo, iykwim
You and and (nearly) all of the commenters make me love Star Wars more than I thought possible. Thanks for being a part of this.
How To Be A Dad lol nearly
Lichi curious to know why is Episode 1 one of your faves?
Not asking facetiously but genuinely. Thx.
@@tracemusic777 i dunno, it was the first one i saw when i was a kid, i have a lot of lovely memories with it. I think it has really fun moments and characters. Qui-Gon, everything that happens in Tattooine, the race, those gungan soldiers and their cool weapons and shields, the final duel, little anakin in that ship alone shotting things... And I have a queen Amidala tattoo :P
Thank you!
this is the the type of video we need to show the toxic part of the fandom that Star Wars is far from dead, it's the next generation that will keep it alive and then pass it on to their kids and so on!
The Ridiculous Otaku Can you elaborate?
Who are the toxic fans? Just the ones who don't like your favourite Star Wars films? Gimme a break, pal.
My Magnum Opus. Jar Jar was totally intended to be a Sith btw.
George Lucas What movie did you originally plan to put him in?
George Lucas are you real?
Hahahahaha!
The real Lucas would never use the 'btw' abbreviation
I disagree, George Lucas is my uncle and hi works for Nintendo OvO
Adorable little kid. Made me laugh when his face lit up during the light sabre duel.
“The land kinda looked fake”
*My reaction to all of the prequels*
Willow Blaze The CG was too much for me too. I always wonder what they would have been like with more practical effects and sets.
How To Be A Dad actually fun fact, each prequel movie had more practical effects then the entire original trilogy, most of it was minatures especially in phantom menace, the originals used mostly blue screen for the various scenes where the prequels used green screen, the pod racing track? Minatures, the ship at the beginning that blows up? Minatures and real explosion, the geonosion arean in 2 and mustafar in 3? Minatures, with cgi to enhance them, but several lava shots were from real volcanoes. There's a site where most of it has been documented now and has gained a lot of attention from even prequel haters, it shows the insane amou ts of work and detail that went into the scenes and sets. Many of the aliens we're people in costumes with animatronics in them to move the face like the trade federation guys. The sequels use way more cgi then the prequels despite making their claim on going back to basics, but because it's newer more refined cgi they get a pass.))
NinjaTyler No, they get a *free* pass. Any film produced after the early millennium era gets a *free* pass for using Computer Generated Images to enhance and overlay the film.
George Lucus basically changed the Movie Industry in the sector of computer technology and graphics. He spearheaded ILM's production branches to work on the Prequel Trilogy. He wanted the effects to adhear to his vision of the Prequel Era (Clone War Era). He showed great intrest in this technology and it's potential technique usage in film making as far back as 1979, (Two years after the First *'STAR WARS'* movie released) when he first created a Computer Graphics Group/Sector as a subsection/part of Lucusfilm Computer Division. He later sold off this division however it was later reorganised into a legitimate company (with the necessary help and funding from Apple Incorporated, Co-founder 'Steve Jobs' ) called... *Pixar. Yes without George's great interest in Computer graphical achievement Pixar Animation Studios may never have existed.*
This all reinforces the point that *CGI* was a new technology in the Movie Industry and George Lucus spearheaded this technology into the best possible form it could be in the Star Wars franchise. The CGI was a completely new medium that critics and audience members *bashed* the film on. Now almost *20 years later CGI* is practically in every single film produced today (with exeptions) It is practically commonplace. It is practically evolved since 1999 and become an irreplaceable technique in films today. Completely CG characters are also commonplace. *Jar Jar Binks, basically indirectly and inevitably inspired films such as Avatar.* You are also right. Practical Effects and sets were undoubtedly used in the entire Prequel Trilogy. *He truly tried to mix CGI and Pratical Elements in those films.*
*Which is only one reason why I respect him and appreciate the effort, detail and work that went into creating an entirely new Star Wars Era for a new generation and older generations to enjoy.* New concepts. An amazing, tragic story about a humble joyful child turned padawan turned Jedi Knight and Jedi General turned corrupted twisted and evil bionic Sith Lord, a slave to the Dark Lord of the Sith.
I was about the same age as young Anakin when I first watched this movie. I loved it so much. The pod race was so memorable and had some of the best audio fx I've ever heard. The duel of fates easily became one of the best lightsaber fights in Star Wars hands down. The Naboo space battle and how Anakin took down the Droid battleship (even by luck) reinforces the fact that Luke inherited more than just Force sensibility from his father. So many traits seen in Anakin were found in Luke.
NV SNAKE seeing him respond at nearly the same age transformed my response to the movie. This has been a mind blowing experience for me as a dad and Star Wars fan.
How To Be A Dad I remember when I was his age when they re released the originals in the theater before the prequels, so I got to see all 6 movies within the same decade of time, and I never hated any of them, as did many my age, when we got to watch them all together without media biases telling us we should hate 4 of the 6 movies.
Phantom menace is far from a great movie but it adds a lot to Star Wars and ha a lot of enjoyable scenes better than clones imo. I would rate them
Tpm - 6/10
Aotc 5/10
Rots 8/10
Anh 8/10
Esb 9/10
Rotj 7/10
liam holloway well that's just your opinion. This movie came out 19 years ago and did a better job with its characters than the sequel movies. The prequels weren't the best Star Wars movies but they didn't deserve the level of criticism they got now compared to the new SJW Star Wars trilogy.
I hate the new trilogy I love the prequels so not sure what your on about idiot
"I Loooved it!"
Thank you for making this series! Love your son's reactions! He's smart, kind and sweet. His responses always warmed my heart. He certainly is strong with the force. Best wishes for you both! 💕
God I was so happy to see that you’ve uploaded another video. Really really enjoy this little series. Can’t wait to be a father dad and show my children Star Wars... it accompanied me all my life and so it should be for my kids :)
1:19 Your reaction to what he said was gold
Bigevilshark Haha! I’m allowed to react too! 😂
That victory music at the end of the movie and the chorus is the same melody as the Emperor's theme from the original trilogy. Just speeded up and made more happy-ish.
Been watching the Star Wars reaction clips now and it fills me with child-like glee to see someone watchign them for the first time.
May the Force be with you both.
Oh wow! I have to check this out! I was so surprised to see that my boy got confused by hearing the first instance of a musical piece that John Williams made into Kylo Ren’s theme. He’s a genius. His themes are part of my soul.
Just found this randomly in the sidebar. How sweet that you are watching these with your son!
Overall, the general public’s view of the Prequels are changing.
There is a general warming up to them mainly due to the Clone Wars.
Also, because the younger generation who grew up with them are older & now have a voice online to defend them.
The prequels were always fine (not perfect, but what Star Wars movie is?) it’s just the Original trilogy generation (my generation) forgot to look at them through those same lenses that they used when they viewed the original trilogy... Through the lens of a child.
Because in the end these are stories geared toward children.
And that’s the bottom line because Stone Col.... hmm hmmm George Lucas said so!
tracemusic777 also because the sequels are not as good as the prequels. Bought the prequel trilogy for my daughter to show her the diference. I only owned the OT. She enjoys SW now.
@@kairiamane3058 This movies suck Accept it
Makita Gut wtf are you talking about the sequels are miles better than the prequels
Did you stay through the end credits and hear vader's breathing at the very end??? That part is probably the coolest and most spookiest part
Ed Tierney WAIT WHAT??? We did NOT! I’ll do it tomorrow with him! Thank you!
I've seen TPM multiple times throughout my life and had no idea that was there :O
Much respect to you sir. I can tell you you always try your best to be a great Father! We need more men like you in this world.
"too much power can cause going to the dark side"
The Force and wisdom is strong with this kid.
Anthony Carado I’m learning so much more because of him. This whole experience had been as amazing for me as at it has been for him.
This young one is strong in the Force. And a pretty fair judge given this is the toughest to get through. Can’t wait for him to get to Revenge of the Sith.
KaioConnor I don't believe it is the toughest one to get through. Yes it has it's moments with Galactic Politics however that is far between.
I've been waiting for you, Obi Wan.
I seriously love these videos so much!!! It reminds me of the all the times I've watched Star Wars with my family!
"Too much power can cause someone to go to the Dark Side, right?"
Palpatine: "Gooooooooood."
OMG FINALLY im waiting for 3 because its in my opionion the best Star Wars Movie ever i wonder how he will react. Please do it fast :D
bySnake feel the same
I'm trying to go fast. We're watching II this week, then (hopefully) III the week after. I don't want to jam them too close together. No "binging" Star Wars in my house.
Thats nice to hear :). I think he will love 2 and 3! But then we must wait 1 Year for 9.. thats so sad.. (maybe you son likes to hear that it's official that Mark Hamil (The Actor of Luke) is in the Cast! ( sry for my bad english btw. im from Germany :D ).
When he sees Order 66... :(
I know right! :/
you know I relate to him alot. as a kid I found jar jar hilarious too. As I grew older though I found him less funny However when I did my prequels re edit and reduced jar jar to essential scenes for some reason i found him downright funny again as an adult. I think reason being that. Lucas made jar jar overstay his welcome but, when he's just here and there he is a fun time to me XD
RandyAndyShow I actually never got around to watching the prequels until last year because I thought I'd watch it with my brother who's as old as this kid and he actually liked Jar Jar while I was annoyed by his antics, but in episode II where he's wasn't present for a huge duration I didn't mind him at all
Jar jars more for the kids. Adults will find his slapstick humour annoying
Weirdo Reborn it's funny, for some reason rewatching all the movies c3po was more annoying at times then jar jar for me, I guess it's because of his constant whining and nagging where jar jar was just a jester type Character, only around 4-5 jar jar moments were overly stupid/annoying
“So what did you think?”
“I LOVED it!”
I love this tradition :)
I fell in love with the prequels first actually. I was a late bloomer. Born in 78, but my father was never into that kind of thing so I never truly got into it until much later with the release of Ep 1. Watching this video took me back to my son and I doing our first Star Wars marathon. You sir are a great father. The force is strong with you.
Haha glad he liked it! #Prequelist
These videos are great! Your son's reactions are so honest and fun! Maybe like all we reacted once! May the force be with you!!
"Not as good but I still liked it" Yup that pretty much sums it up. Keep the the strong work
I’m glad that he enjoyed it
This was fantastic!
after the prequels u should watch the clone wars series on netflix its soooooooo good !
zaandarbrow At least before the new season comes out
zaandarbrow netflix only have two season, no ?
nope it has the movie and 6 seasons
zaandarbrow oh yeah ? Well here in france we must have been fucked then
zaandarbrow here in Britain we have no series of clone wars on Netflix 😢
"Force cuddles" Awww, I loved that. :)
“Guess what we’re doing” is now iconic
Love this channel keep it up !
So interesting how your son said storm troopers when the theme popped up. Granted dunno if kylo rens theme was inspired by that one piece of music by John Williams. But it's fun how kids pick up on that stuff so fast, and pay attention to certain musical cues.
Composer of the new trilogy needs to seriosuly come up with original music....
Question: your son was referring to last jedi in comparison, right? ;)
Pickles Mcgee He’s very musical, so it’s similarity to Kylo’s theme said “bad guys are here” since he knew it couldn’t be Kylo. He’s seen Episode I through VIII and Rogue One so far, so that’s what he was referring to in comparison. I videoed all of those reactions as well.
Perfect! Cant wait to see the rest of the prequel reactions!
"For a second it looked fake, like the land." Lol agreed
Go Go episode 3 *_* i love your video
I love these videos!!! I can’t wait to have kids and show them the best movie series of all time!
Keep 'em coming. i love these videos. I have two young kids who are Star Wars crazy myself. Passing it on is what it's all about.
This was refreshing to see. I loved the sense of wonder and laughter. Can’t wait to show Star Wars to my daughter in a few years.
You're going to love sharing them with her. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Jar Jar is the key to all this
Finally!!!!! (comments before watching)
Hope you liked it. It's got things that lovers and haters will enjoy.
I admire this kids innocence.
this is a great series, good to see good stories still being enjoyed
When make the react of episode ll? id like see your son react for the firts badass apereance of the clone troopers in action
Are you and your son going to watch and react other classic movies like The Goonies, Back To The Future, Jumanji, ET, Batman, Ghostbusters, etc?
123haninhk Yes. Not all of them but your list is pretty close to what I have in mind.
Love seeing the next generation experience the magic for the first time. Can't wait to see you guys watch II & III! Makes me want to have kids so I can share this kind of bond with them too.
Thank you for sharing this with us, Sir. Hugs for you!
...I'm so glad you exist. I've seen a Dad who forbade their children to watch the Prequels because HE (the Dad) doesn't like them (Prequels). Talking about Dictatorships huh.
Das Institut I’ve seen some comments (anti-Prequels or Sequels) that made me really hope they didn’t have kids. The idea of banning a movie solely because you don’t like it sounds like a hard childhood under that kind of parenting.
Am I the only one who loves the original 6? Well accept attack of the clones, but I love the whole political side to the rise of the empire, and as a kid I didn’t get any of the politics until my teens early adult years, and I appreciate it more now. Lucas is a genius.
You are definitely not the only one. Look at just a few of the comments.
Yer Maws Da for sure, I love seeing the various moving pieces on the galactic chessboard in the prequels, seeing how skillfully palpatine manipulated trillions upon trillions of people, it gave many near throw away lines from the origins much more weight like in a new hope ( Star Wars) when they mention the emperial Senate has been disbanded. Plus it was cool to learn palpatine loved mocking the whole Galaxy especially the Jedi with various things he'd do, like his office was decorated in many ancient sith artifacts and the Jedi didn't even realize it, and when he announced the new empire he wore tradition ancient sith robes as further mocking to everyone. The man loved his deception
One of the best scenes in SW history for me is when Sidious & Anakin are talking about Darth Plagueis the wise.
I FREAKIN LOVE THAT SCENE!!!
Some of the best dialogue in SW. George knocked it out of the park and ended the scene in a such powerful manner.
“Is it possible to learn this power?” .... “Not from a Jedi”
Talk about pivotal?!?! Gives me goosebumps.
Sidious is a evil bastard 😂
tracemusic777 My son and I were talking after TLJ and he’d seen a video on the history of the Sith, and he and I came up with the theory that Snoke could turn out to be Plagueis, and if so Kylo may have been taught this ability, aaaaaand possibly in some wild twist Luke could be brought back to life. We’ll see.
Loved it, we need part 2 sooon pleaseeee.
This is amazing! God bless you guys! Have an awesome safe night!
planet Naboo is returning in star wars 9, did yall know that?
Perhaps for Leia's funeral
I remember when I was a pre-teen and my father took me to see episode 1. We were so excited because he seen star wars episode 4 originally with my grandfather just a few years older than what I had been when we went. We both loved it, my father actually enjoys episode 1-6 very very much. He is not a true Genwunner (Pokemon term used for those that like only one generation and then complain, argue, assault, and harass others that like anything OTHER than it) when it comes to Star Wars, but he did not like episode 7. After 7 he stopped watching them because he said the story was over for him, and it just didn't feel like something that grabbed his interest.
Also with JJ's rewrite of episode 9 (and now it becoming a 5 hour movie script) there are elements in it that add characters from episode 1-3 as well as the other portions of the series. There is a deep revelation rewritten about Snoke that will have a LOT of fans freaking out and shocked.
PJ Lincoln That’s awesome. My son and I have an interesting theory. After we saw TLJ, he was watching a RUclips video about the history of the Sith. And long story short, we both came up with this theory: what if Snoke is actually Darth Plaguies (Palpatine’s master) who allegedly discovered how to bring people back to life, and by some turn of the story Snoke/Plaguies taught Kylo Ren this technique, and by some even more mind blowing turn in the story....! Luke gets brought back to life!!! Anyway. I try to stay away from fan theories because they seem to take some of the mystique out of the movies for me, but my son (9 years old) kinda blew me away with that one.
This made me smile. There are some great things in the prequels, just not, you know, the writing. Or the acting. Thanks for sharing.
That innocence and wonder of just enjoying every second of this franchise. Perhaps some people can learn a thing or two from him.
Adorable
01:54 The way you look at the camera like in The Office after watching Jar Jar killed me.
Great reaction! Can’t wait for him to watch Episode 2!
"Is that Jar Jar?"
*looks at camera*
*looks back*
....................... "Yes."
laughed harder at this than I should hahahaha
Episode II might break him ...
Damn i want just post this. Well you were the first one
999999SkyGuy Hello
@@FabianGuse Hello there😉 Can't wait for Revenge of the Sith😀😉
999999SkyGuy Me too. I think he's going to like Episode 2 as well.
aka "the worst Star Wars film" or "the final nail in the coffin". Episode II is at least enjoyable in a "so bad it's good" kind of way. III represents everything I despise in Star Wars.
Awesome reactions. Goes to show “fans” can bash the prequels all they want, but hey, kids do still like em. And find Jar Jar funny 😁
Jar Jar isn't funny....
Silk Webber18 Oh, but he is. In a child's mind, your little opinion does not register with them. That is definitely for the best.
That doesn't make him funny, of course kids would laugh at Farts and poop gags, also I didn't ask for your opinion, so you can STFU.
@@silkwebber1947 Who askef for yours?
spacewookie Your mom?
Episode l was the very first Star Wars movie I watched & therefore has a special place in my heart. It has its flaws, but I still love it.
I’m really glad he enjoyed it.
It so cute))))
OK I think we converted another one for our cult following of the prequels.
Dads reactions were gold
That was adorable, great video
I love the prequels ✌🏽
I still like Phantom Menece over the Last Jedi
I like how he whistled with the music.
When he was 7 he was learning to play the recorder at school. He walked up to me one day and started belting out the Imperial March! In secret he'd figured out how to play it so he could surprise me. He's very musical. Now he's learning the saxophone and knows the basic parts of Star Wars theme, Imperial March and Duel of the Fates (Maul's theme).
Eagerly waiting for the next ones :)
Godamn spoiler books! Everyone keep your children away and burn them in the lavas of Mustafar!
btw can't wait to get to ep 3
LaRone CT-HK47 My wife ordered them years ago and he’d read them before I even knew he had them. She knows better now.
lol sorta figured something similar when you threw some into a fire in a video a while back which was pretty funny. Just asking, do you ever think you might do his reactions to a few episodes of clone wars and rebels? Some of the best parts in Star Wars come from those shows but it would probably be very time consuming
good thinking fast forwarding the politics part lol bet his reaction was sleepy
i still love this movie tho lol
now this is pod racing
zaandarbrow I’ll be 100% honest. He was just tired. He just got over being sick and I didn’t know he was tired.
LMAO "oh he dies"
Great reaction. Good to see atleast some can enjoy it
edit: AND he whistles Darth Maul's theme?! What a legend
1:35 This moment when a child can find things but we as adults can't. Your boy has a good ear. I never noticed that.
