Absolutely beautiful Tim!! I know that you don't normally use resin in your projects, but a red to to fill the voids in the gum burl would have been beautiful! Thanks for the time you take to show us beginners how the masters work! Thanks--Lee
Woo Tim I really like this idea. And it makes a great gift the moment is saw this I picked up some diffusers and gonna make 1 for my mom's birthday. And that shine on the ebony 😍
😲 wow Tim that is absolutely awesome project and it turned out amazingly beautiful thanks for sharing your knowledge and craftsmanship take care my friend from the🇺🇸🇺🇸🐊🐊 Cajun 🐊🐊🇺🇸🇺🇸
Beautiful turn. A magnificent piece of wood turned by the master. Tim, would you please do a walking cane. It can be segmented. You can also show how to PROPERLY use a steady rest. Once again, MAGNIFICENT! SAFE TURNING, John
Another beautiful project. Well done sir! Couple questions for you though. What is the name of the diamond wheel you sharpen your tools with? I watched your shop tour video that showed it in there a while ago but I can’t seem to find it again. Also the mesh sandpaper you mentioned in this video is that the kind that looks kind of like a window screen and sort of Velcro’s onto a sanding block and to clean it out you just smack it on a bench top or use compressed air? Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi, I'm Lila. I'm seven years old and my Dad and I really like to watch your show. Thank you.
Great little project. Can't tell my wife until I finish one. She would not let me rest until it was done.

Tim, who knew we used the same brand of soap? Amazing gum burl and spectacular results with the Ebony accent. Keep defusing 😷
Really nice. Can’t wait to get my lathe set up again.
Well done, Tim. Spectacular way to cover up the Odeur d'Toote

WOW... That wood is fascinating! no wonder you just cut the wood and it instantly oozes gum...
which type of gum was that burl from? To me it looked like it could have been from a red gum, but iron bark can also have a similar colouring.
The tape on your thumb is to protect you from the shavings?
I misread the title...
Thought it said gurl bum reed diffuser.
But this is just as lovely.
That's nice!! Quick question for you, what is the height of your lathe? Center of the spindle to the floor.

JJ Hanson The wheels on the grinder are called CBN wheels. The sand paper is MICROMESH. Both are available in many locations.
Ron H, thank you sir very much for your help.
JJ Hanson No problem.
Beautiful wood! You just got to love “Woodturners Porn too”. 👍🇺🇸
