I lived there for only 6 winters but met some really great people. Its sad to hear that alot of those locals cant afford to live there anymore. Don't blame me, I voted for Gilbert Archuleta

How much snow has fallen this early season? Is it worth going to Silverton mountain end of December?

The Silverton Mountain website has all of that info. The snow levels are currently below average for December.
