  • Driving from beautiful Ouray, Colorado, to Red Mountain Pass summit via Million Dollar Highway 550. This area is considered one of the most dangerous highways in America. This highway is also known for its frequent avalanches during the winter season. #dangerousdriving #ouray #colorado

Great video! My wife and I have been up and down 550 multiple times, never during winter though. A stay in Ouray and/or Ridgeway is always enjoyed! Thanks!

I’m watching this while laying in bed in August in Wisconsin and all that’s running through my head is “SLOW DOWN”! My wife and I drove this a month ago and it was incredible

I'm from the UK. I went from Ouray, Silverton and Durango in the spring of 2009.
The aspen trees were truly beautiful
    A brilliant but scary road.
Durango...is my favourite place. I had a pint in the Strater Hotel. Durango.

Ha, ha, ha . Grew up in Rico. Now ... go drive this in a rear wheel only vehicle with snow chains . Experience it the way we all used to have to before AWD and 4-WD vehicles .

Nice place. Do you plan to post versions with ambient sound only, rather than a music track? For me it's more immersive. Who knows, it might help get subs.

More ambient versions are in the works. Thanks for the feedback.

Traveled this route this past September. The opening music was the perfect pick for this mesmerizing, beautiful drive. Who is the artist if you don't mind me asking?

I went through there last year in the middle of a blizzard. Where you do the horseshoe turn, a car had obviously fallen off the edge. It was nose down at the bottom. Scary AF!
