Every time is a good time to invest!
Investment is not a game of chance or
luck like the lottery, rather it involves
    critical reasoning, planning, and diligence
and focuses on achieving the major goal
    (PROFIT). Notwithstanding, one should put
    into consideration that various externalities
may occur during the investment period
which could result in a high yield in profit or
    loss.

The Coffee Nut A market order means you buy the stock at the price it is right now. A limit order, which many investors use and should use, is once the stock hits a certain price then you buy it. For example if a stock is at $52 and you want to buy it when it drops to $50 (to save money) you set up a limit order and it buys it automatically when it hits that level. 😃 Other trades aren’t as necessary for most people 👍

I do. I've been with Vanguard since 2006 and have crushed it! My core has been VFIAX and VOO, both S&P 500. Also VTSAX and VTI are good total market index funds.

with Vanguard--their index funds and ETFs are different share classes of the same funds so the ETFS and funds are extremely similar but the ETFS you can trade any time the market is open but the fund is only available to trade at the end of the day

    • @akin242002

If you are a day trader, go with ETFs. If you are a long term investor, go with classic Index Funds. Some good Index Funds:
      Vanguard's VSTAX
      Charles Schwab's SWPPX
      Fidelity's FZROX.
