An idea: would it be too hard to put canoas (or other boats) in the water before the acrylic dries, so they're a little bit sunken, and trace their slipstream?
It might be cool to make the same thing with a pole, a dead three or a small pier, imo.

Words fail me to describe the level of patience you have to produce these absolutely stunning artworks.
I do bare metal restoration on Matchbox models from the 50's and 60's and it has calmed me right down!
There is something very tranquil about your diorama scenes. A little insight into local life.
I don't agree with some suggestions that you produce a disaster scene. While I have no doubt it would be the bloodiest, goriest scene possible, I feel that your existing body of work encourages calm and peacefulness in the world.
I subscribed some time ago and I enjoy when you release new videos.

hey, maybe you can use sound-frequency to make the water have riffles like in real world. i saw that people make art stuff with it. water or sand on a plate that is on top of a hifi box. then the person puts different deep frequency sounds through it and with that you can control the shape. - sorry for bad english, im german

hmmm that sounds very interesting! I have a sub-woofer that's pretty big, I might be able to put my diorama on top of that as the water cures/dries and see if it works? Thanks for the cool idea :)

thanks for reply, i would apreciate it if you would try it and if it works to make a video of it, maybe its really a good workflow. wish you good luck! Luke Towan

I found him in 2019. I found this video which is 4 years old. I noticed immediately how his techniques have changed over those 4 years and can see how much better he is now. So cool!

Hi. I have a question. So are you building these scenes as additions to a functional model railway or are these just individual decorative pieces? Thanks for the awesome videos! Great work!

Okay, okay, I know this post is over a year old, but they are all just individual set pieces.
It’d be hard to mix the Australian outback, a river and a gold mine together.

Anyone who owns a Fendt 930 is more likely to keep it in perfect condition so i think it's more realistic to keep it that way

Thing is, you could easily make a model of that by submerging the car a little into the river before it settles

What does adding washing detergent do to glue? Makes it less adhesive? Thanks

    • @michaelhornbek2983

Releases the surface tension so glue will spread out instead of forming drops.

rhodel Ganaden The best ones by far. The moment it was digitalised to 'make it more realistic?????????' I hated it. How can you get more realistic than a REAL, even though a model, train?
