How did you score Fury-Usyk? 🤔👇

      Usyk 9 - 3

    • @thesmithsnerd
      @thesmithsnerd 29 дней назад +28

      Usyk 1-3
      Fury 4-6
      7 was a swing , had it 10-10
      8-11 were all Usyk
I had 12 Usyk but another swing, don’t mind it going to Fury but it was a masterclass by Usyk. 117-111 for me, or 116-112 being kind. Still an enthralling fight, totally absorbing, but a career best from Usyk.

The rds. Fury won where competitive but Fury won them .After the 8th Usyk made the fight, knocked Fury down and was fairly dominant hurting Fury a number of times .cant see how Fury says he won, he was totally outclassed .

I gave Usyk the first three rounds as well; unsure what other people were seeing. Then he won everything after the ninth quite unquestionably. I also thought he should have won by TKO in the ninth; Fury was out on his feet: not suspended by the ropes; a man that size would have fallen through the ropes if his legs gave out entirely. Rubbish referee; two of those judges just as bad. But, the right man got the decision in the end.

The Fury vs. Usyk fight was a thrilling, back-and-forth battle.
Usyk shone in the opening rounds, showcasing his skill and leaving the rounds close enough for either fighter to claim.
But then came the middle rounds, where Fury truly came alive. With perfect distance, range, and movement, he dominated the ring, outboxing Usyk and making it seem like a knockout was within his grasp if he had just pushed harder.
But then, the 8th round arrived, and something changed. Fury, inexplicably, seemed to step back, taking two rounds off and nearly getting knocked out in the 9th. It was baffling-why didn't he continue with the strategy that had worked so well? Why didn't he keep Usyk at a distance, hit, and move with the same intensity?
The urgency from Fury and his corner was missing when it mattered most. This lack of pressure allowed Usyk to seize the moment, turning the tide in the latter rounds. In those final moments, Usyk capitalized on Fury's hesitation, securing the victory that slipped through Fury's fingers.

Weak Heavyweight division, if any of you guys seriously seriously think that Usyk would beat Lennox Lewis then you’s are absolutely mad!!! The reason the heavyweight division is entertaining is because they are all on par, Joshua was winning ‘if i remember rightly’ on 2 judges scorecards till the 9th against Usyk seconf fight, there was 1 round in it between Fury and Usyk, listen Usyk is brilliant but he would never ‘in my opinion’ have dealt with Lewis but i must admit the pressure he puts on is relentless. He fights at heavyweight like he’s still at cruiserweight man. An exceptional boxer.

Said weeks ago that Usyk would edge a win,but never thought he would actually rattle fury like he did in the later rounds, fury said he was enjoying it in there, but we all knew and saw that he was being kept on his toes and was more than likely out of his comfort zone, the ropes and ref saved him from a TKO and his comments about the war were bitter to hear.

The ref "could" have stopped it and thank goodness it did not happen like it does in wanky Uk fights where the ref is just waiting to call off fights. The ref actually followed what is in the rule books and gave a standing 8 count due to Fury being held up by the ropes.

Usyk won at least 6 rounds (2 or 3 others being either way) plus the knock down in Round 9, that means realistically no one could score it as a loss for him. Draw or close win for Usyk is undeniable.

After Fury’s nose popped, he never won another round, in my opinion. Up until then, I’d say it was close, but Fury was slightly ahead. Once the nose went, Usyk all the way. Fury was out on his feet the ropes held him up. Had Fury dropped to the canvas, he wouldn't have got up. On top it didn't help that the ref saved Fury from getting KNOCKED OUT! He lost to a rabbit, sausage and met the first man born out of his mother to defeat him. HUMBLED AT LAST! Usyk don't need to prove anything anymore.
