He outlander Usyk in 5 of the first 6 rounds in case that helps you understand why some people thought it. some people favour pressure, some people favour shots landed, some people favour bigger shots... it really is subjective. But yeah he landed 95 shots vs 73 in the first 6 rounds , and (out landed in 5... just to give you some idea of why people might disagree with you) . I thought it was a very, very close fight, but I think Usyk probably just did enough. Fair play to both men.

I had it 4-2 to fury after 6. He was hitting Usyk with nice body shots. Usyk was pressuring but fury kept walking him onto shots. Fury was winning the long game and making Usyk pay when he did get close. Usyk stayed consistent, made very slight adjustments and got to tyson. Tyson corner being a shambles with 3 people talking meant he wasn't getting clear into and wasn't able to make any worthwhile adjustments. Was just fighting on heart and instinct after round 9.
Imagine how difficult it is to find sparring partners anything like Tyson fury? This fight will have taught Usyk enough to make the rematch a more comfortable win in my opinion

After seeing MANY weak stoppages in boxing lately, nobody could have complained if the ref had done the proper thing and stopped Fury in the 9th. Instead, what we saw was the ref SAVE a guy who was knocked out, gave him time to recover and allow him to carry on. It should have been a 9th round tko. I’m pretty sure if that was Usyk getting pounded pillar to post, the ref would’ve stopped it.

Great fight. Well done to both men. If it is true that Tyson broke Usyk's jaw that shows a testament to Usyk's toughness and also a legitimacy to Tyson being able to land punches that would probably stop most people. Well done to both men. I thought it was a close fight. Fury looked like he was going towards a comfortable victory at one point (I had 5-1 up after 6 rounds) but Usyk came back fantastically. Two judges scored it a close fight. I would agree with those two judges. Well done to Usyk and hopefully we can see that agin because that'd be interesting ! We've seen Fury go back to the drawing board before and come back stronger. Usyk may also go back to the drawing board. Well done and respect to both men and both sets of fans.

Round 6 and 7, Fury got into a good groove and Usyk looked in trouble. But like after round 8 of Usyk v AJ, Usyk made the adjustment and took the fight back to Fury and deservedly won the fight. Thats what makes Usyk so good. When you think you’ve dented him, he just comes back stronger. People slating Fury are a disgrace. Usyk is too good. Modern day Ali. Chin up Tyson, I won’t low blow you, unlike the many keyboard warriors who’ve turned on you

After six rounds it was even and Fury won 7 and 8, he then lost 9,10,11 and 12 to Usyk and that is why John Fury was shouting because he could see Tyson was loosing. I honestly believe, Usyk should have been awarded a TKO in Round 9. The ref was sympathetic to Fury. Usyk is a boxing master, Fury on the other hand, not in the same league. He did great against Wilder, that is about Fury's level.

Very similar to Frazier-Ali 1 from 1971. In round 11 of that MSG fight Muhammad Ali was knocked out on his feet by Joe Frazier, and the bell saved him. Rubbery legs, narrowly escaping defeat.
His showboating leading up to round 11 cost Ali on the judge’s scorecards, although he did equally or more damage to Frazier’s face than Frazier did to him. Joe was in the hospital for a week. In this fight, Tyson was out on his feet in round 9, and the showboating probably cost him the fight like it did Ali more than 50 years ago. Ali-Frazier also featured the first time two undefeated HW champs faced off. Both fights going the distance.
But Frazier-Ali I of course had more action, more ebb and flow drama.

    1-3 Usyk
    4-6 fury
    7-12 Usyk
Basically from round 1-12 it was a simple game plan from Usyk…. Pressure and a left hook. The amount of times Tyson got caught with that left hook was insane, then put him out with it nearly
