I mean, Fury traded blows with Deontay Wilder, arguably the hardest hitting heavyweight in history. Usyk is not a slugger. He will have to outfox Fury, which can happen.
And let's be real, Haye was always a B level fighter. Never an elite.

Bellew took the fight at cruiserweight even though Usyk wanted it at heavyweight because Bellew wanted a shot at all of the belts. He boiled down to cruiserweight, mimicked Fury's style, and did decent, then ran out of gas and was KO'd (probably because he couldn't make cruiserweight properly). I feel like Bellew has created some false narrative in his head where he is some amazingly skilled boxer who can box Fury's style better than Fury can, and that Usyk is an unstoppable, amazing heavyweight.
He absolutely did. He was winning the fight vs. Usyk until his conditioning failed him. This was a faded Bellew who was outboxing Usyk, so since he was stopped, Usyk must he some mythical deity. Hate Tysons antics all you like, but saying he has only a size advantage is 1000% obvious pure disdain for the man. I have Tyson by late tko because the great Usyk will begin to fade and fall behind, and this will lead to his demise.

Bellew has a point, but he's also missing Many other points. Fury's jab. Fury's inside fighting ability. Fury's chin. Fury's gas tank. Fury's ring IQ. Fury's fury. Fury's footwork. Fury's ability to adapt.
Fury's gas tank only seems so good because he is very good at dictating the pace of the fight through his faint and clinch game.
If you look at raw output usyk has the far better gas tank.
If usyk's footwork is good enough to avoid fury's clinching and dictates the pace of the fight it wouldn't surprise me if we see Fury gas in this fight.

Fury's jab is slow. His inside fighting is nothing more than laying his fat all over his opponent and illegal punches/elbows. Fury's chin has seen him on the deck seven times as a pro. Fury's gas tank looks good throwing twelve punches a round against slow plodders. Fury's ring IQ, ability to adapt, and footwork all saw him get punched up by a 37 year old man in his first ever boxing match. Life and death to a split decision "win" against a guy on day one. Life and death with Deontay Wilder, the only guy in the division with less boxing ability than Francis Ngannou.
Fury is criminally overrated.
I think Bellew has took all that into consideration & he believes Usyk is better than Fury in those areas. Usyk fighting inside, his gas tank, his IQ, his footwork, adaptability, his chin. Imho Fury's size levels the playing field & Fury's reach advantage in using his jab will be vital, if he can't utilise the reach with the jab it's gonna be a long night for Tyson.

Bellew was even correct about Fury slimdown & going for knockouts under Sugar Hill. Fury barely tried to tie up Usyk, he was going toe to toe. Bellew was right about the clinching and wrestling and awkwardness part of Fury's attack. btw, I don't think Fury even likes fighting in Saudi Arabia, the money drew him in.
I'm glad Tony said what he did at the end. I hope it is fairly judged and goes to the deserving winner should it go that far. I think it's got a really good chance of going the distance. If this happen, I hope and pray that the best person wins. No dodgy scorecards, honest.

Well, I agree size is only advantage but it is a big advantage generally in boxing. Usyk, however, is a highly skilled boxer with amazing amateur career, Olympic gold medalist, undefeated cruiserweight champion and also undefeated heavyweight champion. The danger is, not any one man ever has it all his own way and Usyk may be due for a failure. He has worked super hard though and his training has been stuffed up by the delay and he was all ready to go.
Usyk went 24 rounds and dominated Joshua the guy that starched Nganou. Nganou was in that fight against Fury.
Not one matchroom boxer etc has gone with Fury, got to love boxing like the bloody playground 🙈

This fight can go either way...now for fury to win this fight he has to use his size,his weight,hes not going to outbox usyk so for fury to win he has to use his size,lean on him,tire him out and slow him down...now for usyk he has to do what he does best and thats just box,move around alot,just do his thing...if usyk sets the pace i believe fury will tire ...dont forget fury has had a track record of struggling with smaller guys...furys never faced a smaller better boxer and if fury has slowed down at all its going to show itself against usyk...i cant wait to see this fight...should be a great fight
