Going back to the the n sane trilogy after playing crash 4 really makes you realise what a good decision it was to have the wumpa fruit auto collect when spinning boxes instead of having to actually collect every piece of wumpa fruit makes the gameplay more fluid in my opinion

So, as someone who had 2 and 3 on the PS and also went and suffered through this trilogy last year, I wanna say that this was an incredibly fun video, and that you don't know real suffering in these games until you (for some godawful, naïve, stupid, pride-blinded, hard headed, stubborn effing reason) go and try to get every available platinum relic. It lit a newfound hatred and love for these 3 beautiful games.
I never try to get platinum relics unless I know I can get them if I'm just a little faster and better. They're just for bragging rights not for 100% after all. Getting gold relics on some levels is hard enough. Like try and get a gold relic on Stormy Ascent. You will be very content with just getting a gold relic. Trust me.
I think this saying applies more when talking about the original games. Crash 2 is so much easier compared to 1 because of the level design, the gems didn't requite a no-death run, good save system, smoother controls and more moves. But in N Sane, Crash 2 doesn't feel that much easier and a big improvement. Almost all of the notable improvements Crash 2 made got implemented in Crash 1, the only thing going for it is the level design and the new moves. And with the new physics and hitbox collisions, it made Crash 2 harder than the original. The jump height, air time, ice physics and collisions are the biggest factors that contributed to that. Crash short jumps land quicker, you need more momentum for maximum jump distance, Crash's momentum on ice completely stops when he jumps over a box or an enemy, and Crash's rounded hitboxes cause him to slide off edges. And with the physics being 99% uniform through all 3 games, all of these issues exist in all of them. The momentum thing and hitboxes are what made Crash 1 so hard for so many people, and it's one thing that I certainly wouldn't call an improvement upon the original. Both bridge levels are much less frustrating in PS1 Crash 1.
the difference is that for the most part Crash 1 has very little "bullshit", simply due to the fac tthat its very simple, the most BS is the Bouncing Barrels in Toxic Waste IMO

Crash Bandicoot 4 solved this so well, they added a highlighted "shadow" circle beneath Crash/Coco. This way it's much easier to see whether you're actually above a box or right BEHIND it. Saved my life many times, I wished they had added this to the N Sane Trilogy as well

It was a very good time, but it's not a great game, definitely wouldn't recommend doing it by yourself, but WOULD recommend playing it with three friends.
Someone may have already said it, but... there is a Crash Bash! from what I've seen of it, it's absolutely terrible and somethign that no one should ever play!

You could play as coco for certain levels. The boss battles where all with this clone like of crash thats super beefy. And my favorite stage was the one where you where in a hamster ballgoing through a jungle tree house
That would be interesting, but I wish he would do a playthrough of the original trilogy first. I wanna see how much better or worse he does compared to the N Sane Trilogy.
I grew up playing the OG 1 and 3 (never got ahold of a copy of 2, for some reason), and was quite good at them. The controls on the remake seemed to be much stiffer than the original release, for some reason, although it was awesome seeing it with upgraded graphics. I've tried replaying other games from that era, and my muscle memory gets me back to as good as new in a few minutes, but not with the Crash remakes. I used to be able to blitz through the Hog Wild level perfectly, but trying it on the remake ate through most of my supply of lives because the timing was completely different.
I won't lie to you to be 100% honest I was a girl who is partially blind and trust me it's not easy at least the trilogy wasn't the hit detection was complete crap even my brother well my second well second to last brother I come from a family of me and four boys in which I am the oldest and the only girl even he said that the hit detection was complete crap and he's got almost perfect vision! I mean seriously I was born with hydrocephalus and LMC which are both very dangerous LMC deals with eating away at your brain whereas hydrocephalus is fluid on the brain but if it wasn't for the hydrocephalus I would have died at the age of 2 years old instead of killing me the hydrocephalus had nowhere to go but to badly scar and damage my retinas and optic nerves which wanted me completely blind as a baby but the rest of the time on through I gained vision little by little and I'm still making improvements to this day. I'm very multi-talented though on the bright side I've got a really good memory like that of a supercomputer and I have wicked singing and voice acting talents so it's really not all bad and I'm thinking about going into game design I can picture a level in my head and picture the pros and cons of the level itself :-) plus as well as my memory and my voice impressions that will help as well :-)

Someone brought Sonic Shuffle to ESA, a charity speedrun event filled with likeminded nerds who enjoy a bit of chaos, and we played late into the night with drinks and pizza. It was a very good time, but it's not a great game, definitely wouldn't recommend doing it by yourself, but WOULD recommend playing it with three friends.
The phrase "I'm going to Bonusland" brings me waaaaaay too much joy 🤣
Choc: crash two is the easiest
Also choc: Dies 5000 times on the same level
I feel like crash 2 is a bit easier than crash 1 and crash 3-4 are the easiest
@FNAF_kid69 did you just say crash 4 is easy? Son did you even try to get all the optional shit?
16:17 choc: easy easy it ain’t really a challenge. Choc: falls down right as he says that.
18:53 that is exactly how he sounds like (Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled)
I sat through nearly an hour and a half watching Crash Bandicoot, and I'd like to say thanks Choc!
Someone may have already said it, but... there is a Crash Bash! from what I've seen of it, it's absolutely terrible and somethign that no one should ever play!
6 gameovers in crash 2, 4 of which came from the same level
This is your punishment never skip box
The better question is: Who's gonna suffer through this entire hour-and-some video?!
Not me. I've got a life outside this dead RUclips channel of mine that I really only use for comments...
14:42 Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy
Tbat part were it says look everyone I'm petting the kitty is from Hey Arnold!
The fact that chocto missed most of the wumpa fruit at the start makes me mad.
I had a crash game as a kid bit i dont remember what it was called and after watching this i know it wasnt one of these. It had a hub world. You needed to collect the purple and white gems. You could play as coco for certain levels. The boss battles where all with this clone like of crash thats super beefy. And my favorite stage was the one where you where in a hamster ballgoing through a jungle tree house
Wrath of Cortex?
@@fuckthisstupidasshandleshit i think so
@@oliviaoborne576 I had that too, along with Nitro Kart.
36:59 sounds like Homer Simpson 😂😂
I would love to see you please “Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex”. It feels a lot like Warped.
That would be interesting, but I wish he would do a playthrough of the original trilogy first. I wanna see how much better or worse he does compared to the N Sane Trilogy.
5:53 One of the paw patrol pups
Probably Chase
Suffered through Crash 1, and now I’m suffering through Crash 2; please, help me lol
Crash 2 is much easier, and crash warped is easier than 2...
Then theres crash 4
Whenever I hear gif vs jif I think of:
Gif: moving image
Jif: peanut butter
12:36 omg I did the exact same thing when I first played
Not gonna lie, this is the video I put on in the background to gain motivation so I can finish the crash games.
Watching you play through this calmly through all the crash games when I can't even play a stage once and just get frustrated😭
3:16 choc: casually talks to the viewer while being chased by a boulder
54:44 PSA for people who need to hear it: You can spin the lasers.
59:54 depends on which LBT in LBT 4 she was passable
14:13 The 2nd game has even more, I remember capping them halfway through the game.
17:48 true so was Slim (the guy shooting you earlier) amd Pinstripe (the guy running this place who you saw on the door and will see again later)
Choc I can’t even be mad at you for getting a game over on the crash 2 future levels they’re insanely (no pun intended) difficult
I'm very multi-talented though on the bright side I've got a really good memory like that of a supercomputer and I have wicked singing and voice acting talents so it's really not all bad and I'm thinking about going into game design I can picture a level in my head and picture the pros and cons of the level itself :-) plus as well as my memory and my voice impressions that will help as well :-)
In 1988... a legend was born. Literally😂
On the level were you jump the wall there's a hidden path on top were the first red enemy is and that let's you skip the hazards half way
Universal owned the original IP so maybe it would be possible to make a theme park section
