Here is a bit of a trick for you if you'd like to avoid having this empty spindle issue: That G111 macro is part of a .LIB file which sits in your MD1 as I'm certain you've seen. If you add the code M329 to the beginning of your tool change macro, then revert it at the end of the macro with M328, you'll be able to execute a G111 with an empty spindle and it will simply put that T12 in the magazine even tho it doesn't exist in the machining envelope.

G111 is a custom macro, this is not a proper how to vid..unless you have the macro..
Yes the G111 on .y mb66 is for tool setter offset
G111 is associated with a custom macro, unless ppl have access to the contents of this macro, your g111 has no meaning at all for noone..
