+TheAyanda1988 Hey! If the Dental Hygiene degree doesn't include the pre-reqs for dental school, you will still have to take the pre-reqs. Like I said, it doesn't matter what you major in as long as you complete and do well in the pre-reqs. Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions!
I know the good thing about being a biology major is that you wouldn’t have to take so much additional classes to get your bachelors degree. But my question is can you work with that biology degree whiles I’m dental school to at least pay off your debts ?
Can u study business? Then apply to dental school? Since my child wants to own her own practice ? Of course taking the reqs for dentistry? Would that be smart move?

I have questions , i hope you will be able to help me. 1) How did you feel being a black person applying for Dental school ( many dis encouraging words in the Ghanaian community) 2. I also wanted to know which school did you attend and how did you choose a school, there are so many, I cant visit all of them , but want to be out of my state. Does it matter which high or low Dental school you go to. 4. Did you shadow a doctor or volunteer at any organization in the United states? I am still doing my research but I am struggling. 5. Did you call the dental schools to ask them about their pre-requisite or under grad. Please Help!! Thank you for your time, I appreciate it.

But I was thinking of switching to dental hygiene because looking at the high costs of dental schools I wouldn’t want to enter and take so much student loans. So I was thinking, if I major in dental hygiene I can work alongside schooling to pay off my debts in dental school. What do you think about that?

+Kaleemullah Majid I believe most schools require physics as a prerequisite. Double check with the schools you're interested in.
