Part of me wonders if Stacey and "Trucks" wasn't partly responsible for the massive interest in truck builds starting in the mid-2000s and accelerated up to COVID. Seeing the values on Gen1 Broncos climb, was a real head scratcher for me.
I miss this show I remember when I was little kid watching this show every Saturday with my dad and absolutely loved the show and watch them build these trucks and then take it off roading that’s what it’s all about it building and going have fun what you build
Good job stacey I have a 83 k5 I been working on just put in New crate 383 now just gotta finish it up. Ur video gave me inspiration to get it done love k5s such good offroaders. In Colorado green gas pumps are diesel scared me 4 a min
Richard with the 82 truck you just pull the cab and bed off the frame get a 4x4 frame and transfer the cab over you can make it fit on newer frames too it’s not really hard
I gave up on my K5 build. The aftermarket Chinese parts made it nearly impossible to keep the truck going with any reliabliity. I was replacing things like the power steering pump and the wiper/washer motor up to 10 times in one repair. And none of the parts would last. I had an 80% defect rate right out of the box.
Don't mess with the tie rods if she's driving straight. Just pull off the steering wheel and put it back closer to center. It's way easier and doesn't mess with the alignment
Theat moment I've had my stock TJ in mud holes deeper than that. I'm not saying I made it through like that but I made it through it just took a little different kind of driving
Big blaze traded hands several times. It finally ended up in my town of Stephenville Texas on a used car lot. But unfortunately time it got here it had a completely different drivetrain in it and had been abused. The only thing left from what Stacy had built was the bumpers and color.
Miss Stacey on TRUCKS all the old projects… best show ever!

Stacey David episodes are the only trucks I watch
Too bad, you’re missing a lot of other good shows!
the good ole days of trucks
Love the color of the Blazer. The only thing you're missing for an afternoon of 4 wheelin is cold beer.
One thing about Stacy he's not afraid to prove he builds quality. No trailer queen there.
Incredible car. Very good.
did he put diesel in that blazer?!!!
I think this is the first episode that did not have Mel as co-host.
Mullet goals.

greatness
Most Awesome vid ive ever seen 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
9:35 people standing in the backround running to get out of the camera angle lol
My k5 was the easiest think to find a parking spot for... its turning radius was unmatched by anything
When a 37 looks like a donut spare you have a large vehicle.

You don't really see the newer shows actually go and test the rigs they build. I really miss this show

This is when trucks went into gearz and a half hour commercial
awesome!
How was the docking ?
I've never known anybody to sink so much money in a vehicle, and literally beat the dog shit out of it lol.
Did he just put diesel in that?
Ramjet 350.
I thought the same thing...

had 2 blazers wish mine was like big blaze
Stacey David wearing the dad 5s
Wow you dont see foxbody mustangs & dentside fords anymore . I love how hes not afraid to beat on it.
Hey does anyone knows where is Stacey nowadays??? The guy is absolutely legendary
the tires changed to Bad Years? I thought he put MT MTZs on it?
The kid at the gas pump looked like the kid he built the tomb raider jeep for… 🤔
Bring back Mel, Stacy!!
were is big blaze now

Now 20 years later we realize you’ll never get a capable trail rig with leaf springs lol
I looked the multi-tool don't exist anymore.
Amazon
WhistlinDiesel would be proud...
Yea if he put a sledge hammer 2 it maybe
Its a shame what happened to this truck after it was sold 😒
What happened to it?
@@justinkostelecky6201 the guy took the engine and put a 350 and stripped every aftermarket part off of it.
Oh it doesn’t cost tons of cash either
The top is stupid. The original is better.
Boy is that grilll ugly.
Damn nerve grating music !
