Some interesting controllers, the 2nd machine room appears to be still energized in the controller cabinet. I heard an induction hum. The older controller with the "bulb" as mentioned has floor relays, must be a selector in the controller array. Those four springs in the floor are "dead hitches" this elevator (possibly the fright elevator) has 2:1 roping Compensating sheaves on the top of the cab and counterweight, to increase the weight capacity. Ends of the hoist ropes are "dead hitched" to the floor in the machine room.
