@@haven6455 Well i mean most matches in the lower leagues dont make it to the late gave let alone the mid game. So focusing on micro as i would say the average game lasts 7 mins in those leagues!

@@haven6455 im diamond tier 3 zerg. Plat 2 terran. In the terran games it rarely goes to late game. A lot of the time it doesn't even properly get to mid game. So its mostly about micro in the early game. I can only imagine how bad silver and gold are nowadays. I remember getting so mad when I dropped to plat as terran. The quality of the games dropped significantly. I would try macro builds as a default dead at 5-7 mins a lot of the time i did that. I remember when that happened in hots before they split the leagues in tiers. It was horrible. It made me want to quit. Toss would cannon rush 75% of the time. As a zerg i would get reaper rushed. So that's why i say that. Yea always focus macro but if you cant hold some cheesey pushes you will be hard pressed in the lower ladders to go up. Thats my point.

TPM gets ridiculous pretty fast in bronze league. I once had to battle a guy with more turrets than marines, and he didn't had a very small marine army.
I have found switching to "the Grid" preset hotkey's has helped alot with learning to use hotkeys more, I realize some of the keys may seem less intuitive, like attack move being on T and A being the Stop command. But once I got over those few keys that I was already using I found myself using more hotkeys overall. and i found i don't need to think about where on my keyboard that key is situated, i just look at my screen and move my hand accordingly to match "the grid"

You could consider changing the smart cast for liberators where the ability is the same key as the left click (but alternative key than left click ofc). That way you just hold the key and it spams liberation zones. Some other abilities are easier to use with that as well, like auto-turrets, infested terran (old), fast warp-in, etc.
@@diamondleaguedisaster You can always set your hotkey depending on if you want or not rapid casting. Not all abilities are suitable for that, some would not be efficient like storm, feedback and so on, but for few other abilities it is extremly helpful like rapid warp-in.
I like how the initial safety units are marines in a bunker, a cyclone, and a viking. Been playing for 6 months now, just made plat, and I still lose to early drop harass even with cyclone/raven openers, that first viking is going to come out almost 30 seconds faster than a raven would. After the 4-6 medivacs you can just make more vikings. A mix of marine/marauder/medivac/tank/viking is a solid death ball in lower leagues.
This was great and all, and I mean it. But my experience playing multiplayer for the first time this year, is that it's all about early game drops in bases, especially to knock out economy and especially if it's a terran opponent. Your build is great, but I feel it's great if you expect early attacks and what not, which I find doesn't happen a lot. Pros constantly harass and often attack early because they can micro and macro at the same (it's really amazing how they do that), but most players try to defend their main and go straight for the late game, doing drops in the meantime. I could be wrong of course, I'm a new player, but this has been my experience so far.
I don’t know, but as a player who plays on lower leagues like platinum to bellow, use this kind of playstile and use such microing units like marines and cyclones, can be very frustrating and i dont think is a very good idea to begginers. I realise that properly macro and economy was the ideal thing for me to improve better than sticking in to build orders
The 1/1/1 build is designed to be used in macro oriented games. Take into account that the idea behind having a build is not to stick it like glue but to always have a path in your game. Every build has its timings and goals and persuing those things forces you to focus on what you are doing now and what you should be doing next.
I take like 5 bases in Bronze league, but I always lose because my production is terrible. I never build enough production structures. I max out on Zerg, but I only win with Protoss, and that by going Skytoss.
I used to be a gold Zerg player, but left after an eight game win streak a year ago because I started to freak the fuck out due to the pressure of losing the streak. How do I not freak the fuck out while playing this game? I always have to stop playing after like, three matches. PS/edit I'm coming back as a Terran player because Zerg micro is stressful as hell. Wish me luck with ignoring my reaper micro.
i donno if u guys seen bronze league lately but that is some tough shit there. stuff like canon rush, bc' rush, 4 rax reaper rush, banshee rush, nuke rush, marine/tank drop, ling rush, bane bust. bronze league is hard shit these days.

I wonder, how you can do such a built order, when I play gold league, there are like 3typical scenarios - terran sends reaper to my scvs very early, protoss do cannon rush or warp invisible units near my base or use oracle on my SCVs, zerg sends mass zerglings. Everything around 2:30 - 3 of the game. How you can defend it if you do 2nd base and just one bunker with several marines. The rush will destroy it or if they send anything to the main base, there are no missle turets, detectors or at least any other marines to avoid such early attacks. For example 2 reapers can kill several SCVs till you unload bunker and send marines back to the main base. So i am wondering how to avoid earlygame rushes. Even one invisible Banshee can be really pain in the ass.

If he is going Toss air + colossi you just smash his butt with Vikings. They are cheap and completely destroy void rays. Not to mention Colossi since they can be shot by air attacks.
I ran up a ramp into siege tanks, which was the weirdest thing as I was playing Skyrim VR at the time.

Stop command is actually W. A is gather for workers and basically no command for any other units (I think ghosts have the only other "a" ability"

I dunno how yseful it is for me but it's definetely useful for my terran opponents going to BC's becuase they saw me only on 2 bases on 3 minutes mark

One guy run face first up a ramp into my siege tanks. I then unsieged and sent my army towards his base. Then the BattleNet crashed.
